Lucille Starr gave the NuNs of Quebec who thought us in elementary school cry when they played her Records back in the day when music was all we got. Records were the ones they rolled up and winded for each song, all of us spoke French and our Native Cree.

Love listening her songs and her voice really am missing her …I was so sad when I heard that she left her fans from Canada morning her passing on Sept. 4 2020 she was great Canadian singer from St Boniface.Manitoba we were so proud of her sharing her music with other countries.

My father loved Lucille Starr's singing. When she came on the radio singing, not a sound was allowed. He is gone now, and I never hear her that I don't think of him. I think she has the most beautiful voice. Like an angel.

Makin' Believe. Now that's the way that song is supposed to be sung. So good to hear a country song sung by a real country artist and not that crap that NashTrash is dealing out. The French verse just puts a sweet cream icing on the cake. Viva la Starr.
