The main thing I just hate about the changes is just Lucio got no compensation for the healing reduction so now he does zero healing especially to himself and no extra ammo so i reload even more just for 1 person, but boop buff goes hard so im happy enough

No support got compensation for the healing reduction. That's the point. Healing was too strong. But you shouldn't need to reload any more than before because the projectile size increase makes it _very_ easy to hit shots. And honestly I'd much rather Lucio be weak in the healing department and be strong in the shoot and boop departments.

healers were pushed to be supports more, whether that's utility or damage. the utilities are still independently strong (immortalities) and should be reduced cooldown and effectiveness. but with healing being doubly weaker (passive and HP hike) the sustain has gone down.

It's us. The changes were for the lucio mafia, and yes, we're having fun. Real talk, I'm sorry to you and others who feel put off by the patch, it sucks to be in a spot where a game you like seems ruined. For my part, though, I do think the changes were a net positive- and I'm not saying that just because they buffed lucio. Both support and dps feel pretty great, imo. Support in particuair, since it seems like people intuitively understand they can't count on healbotting and so they gripe less (I'm sure the passive regen also helps). Tank doesn't feel awesome, but then again I don't think it ever really has.

Frogger's videos actually made me want to try Lucio again to try and learn the DPS Lucio playstyle and maybe see if I can climb out of gold with it. Unfortunately, as low rank as I am, the entire enemy team is constantly inside eachother's assholes so if you try to kill a single one, you're fighting the entire team. I have successfully ended many Widows though. I don't think I've lost a widow 1v1 yet.
