Its funny that some of the symbols seem ripped straight from luck be a landlord, and still have poor translations, but the game seems fun and interesting.

Haha, I noticed that too. My guess is that the devs played Luck be a Landlord in their native language, added very similar (or the same) effects using what was written in that game, then had to translate it back into English for their game. I think that's where it went awry, haha.
