@@readwithemily.g I really liked the first two but the others in the series I didn’t like. The others in the series have spice in them and some same gender s*x none of which I like to read about. Hopefully you will have a better time than me with them.

Just finished this new, original collection of fairy tales, entitled 'Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles' - it was phenomenal and just perfect for the season. You guys will love it, I'm sure. What's everyone else reading, I want some more recommendations to add to the lovely ones here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)

@@Panagiotireads Here's a pretty wide range -The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave (dark historical fiction with romance) -Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao (sci-fi + female rage) -Ghost Wall by Sarah Moss (contemporary about obsession with the past) -Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro (near future sci-fi very emotional) -Zombies vs Unicorns (fun short stories with light horror) -Pandora's Jar by Natalie Haynes (nonfiction about the women of Greek myth) -The Meg by Steve Alten (shockingly good giant shark book) -Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan (dark fantasy about abuse and revenge) -Kindred by Octavia E Butler (time travel about a black woman going back and forth between the 70s and a plantation in the 1800s) -Hunt the Stars by Jessie Mihalik (sci-fi romance with some steam) -The Witche's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec (Norse myth retelling about Loki's wife) -The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum (very very good but huge disturbing content warning) -The Mermaid the Witch and the Sea by Maggie Tokuda-Hall and The Midnight Girls by Alicia Jasinska (ya fantasy romances) -The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton (historical heist story) -Humble pi by Matt Parker (fun nonfiction about when math and Engineering go wrong) -Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne (epic Norse inspired fantasy) -The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter (epic revenge fantasy) -Earthlings by Sayaka Murata (contemporary horror sliding into madness) Those are the ones that popped into my head hope there is something for you

I loved these violent delights. That is one of my favorite duology’s ever 5/5 stars. I hope you like it. I’ve also read shatter me and it is an amazing series. If I were you I would read the novella’s in between each book. They add so much more to the story and help you to get to know other characters you wouldn’t know as well otherwise.

Thank you! I'll be picking up these violent delights very soon, I have high hopes. I've been debating the novella's for Shatter Me as I wasn't sure how much they add to the story, but I will definitely check them out now!

Just a heads up Bazaar of bad dreams is more literary fiction than horror, I enjoyed all 3 SK books you picked! Bc of all the 13s there is a new math based horror anthology called Arithmophobia it has 13 short stories and a poem, it comes out on march 14th (which is pi day in the US bc we write the date 3.14) it is for those who love math and those who are less than pleased with it.
