Agent 4 is already a hero, their actions in Splatopn 2 campaign is all the proof we need. They saved Inkopolis, saved Callie, and from saving Callie it allowed her and Marie to sing the Calamari Inkantation which freed even more Octolings including Agent 8 who then helped stop Tartar. Without Agent 4, everyone would be dead

I can see why agent 4 is less noticeable agent than 3 and 8. I do like agent 3 alot but I do admire 4 alot as well and she does deserve some love after all she did to get Callie back

I feel like the reason agent 4 didn’t get much attention was because of how underwhelming the reveal trailer was. It started off extremely slow and didn’t really pick up the pace until at the last moment while the other trailers kept up the energy from beginning to end.

Agent 4 is very underrated but I can see why. The trailer for Splatoon 2's Hero mode didn't really have the energy the Splatoon 1 Hero Mode trailer and Octo Expansion trailer had. There isn't much change story-wise in the Hero Modes of both games. People have nostalgia for Hero Mode 1 because it was the first and it was on the Wii U, a not very good console compared to the consoles of now. The Switch was a heavy improvement and Splatoon 2's Hero Mode had a lot of potential but it ended up being just a redo of Hero Mode 1 with only some small additions and improvements. Hero Mode 2 swapped the Octoball or whatever it was called for the stupid Octorook whatever it's called. Hero Mode 2 was the same basic plot as Hero Mode 1, Octarians steal all the Zapfish including the Great Zapfish and we have to get them back. Hero Mode 2 did include the Callie gone missing plot but it was very poorly implemented. The only story with the Callie plot was at the start with "She's missing" and at the end with "We found her" but nothing inbetween. The Hero Mode 2 bosses are a step up from the Hero Mode 1 bosses apart from the Octavio fights. The bosses were easy in both games. Octavio 1 was an actually cool fight that was hard and fun, it was great. Octavio 2, however, was a massive disappointment. The fists are slower and it's easy to dodge the spinning ones. There are way less attacks than the first one and the final phase with the Rainmaker is just too easy. All you have to do is charge the maker and jump when the spinny punches come. Hero Mode 2 is just reskinned and only slightly improved Hero Mode 1. Thats why Agent 4 is underrated and often forgotten. You could replace Agent 4 with Agent 3 for Hero Mode 2 and nothing would change. Doesn't help Agent 4 that their agent number is a very unlucky number.
