In Lucknow University, we chat with students about issues that are important to them. We are joined in this conversation by Dr Medusa, a popular satirist on Instagram who takes on the task of praising PM Modi.
Big concerns for students are unemployment, paper leaks and the Agniveer issue. We discuss why Modi continues to be popular among women in rural parts of Uttar Pradesh. On the issue of ‘Modi versus Who’, students say they want a representative form of democracy where they choose their MP, rather than a presidential form of election which is all about one man.

I 100% agree with Sukirti. I'm a woman from UP; I left india 5 years back. the biggest reason was not money or pollution (typical reasons why indian men leave india). But it was safety. my college hostel also had a curfew. and even when i went out before the curfew (broad daylight), i was often eve teased, sometimes molested. Men in india (majority), do not think about this much. but it makes a BIG difference to us women. of course, it makes NO difference to our government.

Struggled a couple of years with odd jobs then got a good break and now I m doing pretty well. Well, it's not only about women's safety one is safe in India...I am from Punjab and we men even don't safe, Law and order is just a joke. The education system in India is far behind than world. employment is a big issue, but being in this industry, I feel that most of the students in India are not skilled, and practicality is a big issue. I don't know about UP but in Punjab graduate students in their stream have no practical knowledge. When we graduate in the West, we are ready for a job but in India, you have to get training for another year or so. Our youth is somewhat aware, but not up to the mark. I have a lot to say and hats off to News Laundry for the best content. We expect a lot from any of our governments. In India, education is just about getting marks and a piece of paper. Students should raise questions. everyone can not get a government job. I have instances where students don't even want to start a job, just because the salary is low...in the west, while we study we do odd jobs to earn and learn.

My mom voted for bjp alliance becase she thinks modi built ram mandir she thinks modi can work selflessly for this nation as he left family for the service of country Upon that the other opponent local candid is worst too All thnx to bjp propaganda and their IT cell which targeted local temples , which inturn impacted my mother who goes to temples regularly. A 10 year old my little cousin also says we need to vote for modi as he build ram mandir. Who said her ? Her teachers itseems.
