A few trolls getting about in the comment section bloody idiots its fairly clear you guys are onto it hunters with great hunting ethics,not many hunters would let that stag go 5years or 8-years old boom take him down awesome head and hunt.always appreciate the time and effort you guys put into your hunting adventures 👌👍

Lol. Your exact comment is the reason why it's so hard to find big mature stags on public land. Cuz they get shot way the fark before there prime.

@@baraklazza1595 i left 46 stags the last 2years all on public land stag 47 went down 10pointer bro.the other side of it is some hunters do love getting out in the hills and enjoying company with a dog mates and shooting a few deer and stags along the way its not a crime to shoot young stags.but yeah totally agree it is better to leave young stags that have good potential some areas just don't hold a good blood line soo what do you do there ?
@baraklazza15959 ай бұрын
@ruahinehunter7441 that's right brother it's a free world. There's no charge in that. I guess at the end of the day it's personal preference and common sense to better nz trophys and blood lines. Think about it bro. Like Ole mate said he past up 50 stags on this trip. So then they shoot this one, so then what happens ??? The area is left with those 50 shitter stags to breed in the area. So what happens??? The blood line gets worse, And worse. I've seen this my whole life... over 40 years. They put that wapiti rule in fiordland for a reason .... just if people had the same mentality out in public land.

Love to see a challenge where the boys have a hunting budget of say $2-$3k to buy a gun, binoz etc. just to give the general hunting public an idea of where they feel you would get best bang for your buck! ( excuse the pun ) most hunters I know can’t afford a spotting scope myself included. Please don’t take my comments out of context. It’s just a general observation I’ve noticed with KZbin hunting videos
@tomdougherty56049 ай бұрын
Not having a crack at you or taking your words the wrong way but if you talk to any of the lads you see on film in any public land hunting vid they’ll tell you they would have far more successs off camera with a low budget gear bag than they would in situations you see recorded. The skill it takes to succeed on all the hunters club videos is outrageous, not only to get these beauty animals down but to do it on film is a whole different story

@@TheHuntersClub from about 2:20 -3:00. Whilst it would make me a bit nervous and I’d tell my mate to correct it, there’s also plenty of idiots out there that would make a massive deal out of it that are anti hunting / guns. I also get the camera angle can make things look different
