2019 FLHXS and I've got around 7,000 miles on my seat and one thing I can tell you is that it's not a long haul seat IMO. It's a day trip seat at best. Definitely better then the stock seat. Worth it if you don't plan on long rides. Looks great and good construction. 3.5 stars.

With seat height comparisons you should wear the same shoes. I had same issues with height being 5’8” I went with saddleman then Legend Air Suspension. Great videos

Great seat I have one on my 2019 Road King Special. I'm 5'8" but I have short legs, 30" in seam. This seat put me probably at least a half inch closer to the ground than the stock one, and as it broke in i'm pretty much flat footed now. After I adjusted the suspension for my weight 170lbs it is actually a super comfortable ride and feels like I could go all day long

I have a Saddleman SDC (San Diego Custom) seat with a backrest to put me closer to the handlebars on my 2021 FLTRXS. I’m a short rider on a bagger as well, does the Lucky Dave seat put you closer to the gas tank than the stock seat and/or Saddleman step-up seat?

saying "THE" Saddleman is a bit misleading. dozens of variants for the touring bikes, there is the reach seat and the extra reach seats. you can also order their special gel padding which breaks in fast. I was about to custom upholster my seat but I am starting to lean towards their step up seat with the backrest that extends out.

Bike looks great....(i just watched your new video with Motowitch bars...they look great!!) How does the seat feel now.... 6-7 months after you installed it? all broken in? I have an '18 RG and I am also a (much) shorter rider (5'3'' to be exact -- 5'6'' with the boots on!) and I am looking for a seat to bring me lower to the ground. Got the super reduced reach seat from Harley, but found it to be uncomfortable. I am use the stock seat at the moment. Also, what lowering kit did you use? Anyways, great video!

At first the seat was pretty hard. Loved the way it felt but on long rides it wasn't very comfortable. However, after being broke in it is more comfortable. This seat is great for shorter riders. I hope this helps! I didn't end up lowering my bike..

If you have a sissy bar, your passenger won't notice the slant back seat. If you don't run the sissy bar, they will slide back easier on acceleration.
