When the sad news of Lucky Dube's killing was broken out to us in Kenya, many people, especially the lovers of reggae music, talked about the shooting in disbelief. I remember I was in secondary school. I was listening to his music not knowing that Dube was no more. That's when I learnt that Lucky Dube had been shot and killed the previous night by senseless carjackers. I was silent for some time, I began to wail loudly!

Bárbara Batista: I so much appreciate the love you have for King Lucky Dube, I've read most of your comments on KZbin for King Lucky Dube . He's indeed the best Reggae Prophet, there is no reggae musician I can compare him with. I missed him most and my heart bleeds whenever I realised he is not here on earth anymore. I could imagine how you feel too, because I have such deep feeling of love that I could not explain for King Prophet Philip Lucky Dube. His music will forever be enjoyed by old and new generations to come. He's a Musical Prophet sent by Almighty God to mankind on a divine and brief mission here on Earth.

Lucky for us we got to hear this treasure that could relate so much to REAL life. He liked to include everyone it seems. He will never die in my heart. Cheers!
