A little more than a year ago, my left shoulder 'popped'. Lost 90% of the feeling in my left thumb & pointer finger (the 2 most important ones for flying.) I flew the next day. Couldn't feel anything. I used a pointed m3x12 set screw in top of my nx8 (at the time. NX10 mow😁👍), & luckily WHEN i pushed down my thumb hard enuf, i could barely feel a bit of pain. THEN i could fly again! One MUST adapt to enjoy the hobby! Since then, the chiropractor has me/my left hand back to 75% usable & no more set screw. I got used to it & can 'feel' more now than then. WE gotta adapt & work with what WE got! 👍😁

One thing that never ceases to thrill me in model aeronautics is how everytime we maiden a bird we exclaim with such excitement and relief as if it's there was a very good chance that it wouldn't fly and that it is flying and stable is some sort of miracle, when in fact by the time we maiden our foamies they have been so comprehensively tested that it's pretty much a certainty that they will fly and fly well. It's something I do too but I love seeing others do it and none more enthusiastically than the P Brothers. Congrats on achieving flight with this beauty. I have the Arrows F4U with extreme scale detail, a bigger motor and ESC so I can swing a scale 13" 4 bladed prop on 4S - scale flaps that are split joined like the full size and lots of fine detail...and I absolutely love it, everytime it indeed leaps into the air my heart flutters.!

Pilot Robert, I can fully agree with your opinion on the Corsair. This plane moves like a bat out of hell and turns like cracy if you only look at the ailorons, but can still cruise around the airfield at a moderate throttle setting. At about 9mins 26 - 9.50 or something there are some really atmospheric shots of this coming out of the dramatic Slovenian skyline.. Also the slow pass was 1st class (see what I did there? Poetry! 🤣).. You haven't lost your touch, boys.. Great hand tossing from Blaz, perhaps he's been practicing.. Good job you don't have to pay for fuel for this beautiful gull winged Reno Racer, all that shower gel can get expensive.. And a perfect flight from Pilot Robert, we DID notice especially the lovely flare on landing. That's how to keep the prop safe. Hoping you enjoyed your coffee. A pity about Brexit. I assure you that almost half of us did NOT vote for it, but we are where we are. Big salute from London. 👍

@@PetrincicBrosRC I never forget your vidoh on the kremšnitta. We have a Serbian bakery in our area where we always visit when we get a craving for that old country feel and taste and where we can just sit and chat (Lale Bakery on Lakeshore drive). The coolest thing is - they only have "coffee", none of this "gluten free triple macchiated short americano upside down soy cappuccino designer latte" stuff. No, just coffee, that's it. It's just something to help their incredible pastry go down, I love it! Every time I walk in and see the kremšnitta in their display, I think of you guys! They are very nice folks and treat us like friends and people who walk by stop and wave to them as they pass. You don't see this very often in a big city. It's a precious little piece of small-town Europe in the middle of North America...!

Tower Hobbies sold the F4U Corsair Brushless EP Rx-R 39" for 99 US dollars (PNF) in 2018. At that time it still had a fixed landing gear that you could plug in if you wanted and was designed for 3S with a 1000 KV motor and 30 A controller. With the 9x4.5 prop she was slower but just as powerful as now with 4S 1070 KV motor and 40A ESC and 8x6 prop. She also had a painted pilot dummy but of course no second opaque canopy which I don't like anyway. I like the current color scheme better, also because it's rare, as well as the design with the more powerful regulator, but that's maybe 7 dollars more, which was easily saved on the landing gear and the pilot dummy. A great model to fly and probably the best in the HK series I think. $99 in 2018 and $180 today in May 2022. Where has our monetary value gone? Is HK playful about its claim to be cheap? Hmm 45% depreciation since 2018 is unfortunately normal in many areas. It's best not to think about it, otherwise you'll give up the hobby. Addendum: Maybe your center of gravity is right and the engine needs more camber. This is the case when the model starts to climb when accelerating quickly!

I always put the cg5 mmmm forward from the recommended C G-spot I think the manufacturer's give you false C G-spot on purpose so you crashed the plane and buy another one

Great flying Rob👍 that's a nice plane and your thumbs are still on good form😂👍👍.. As for the U.K/Hobbyking issue, it's not all down to Brexit and nothing to do with customs charges. Most places in Europe still ship to the U.K. Just this past week i have had guitar equipment from France and r.c parts from Germany with no problems, with the V.A.T tax and shipping being very reasonable.. Also a few years ago i purchased 2 tamiya r.c kits from China, while they are not as big a parcel they are heavier and shipping was free but i did run the risk of them getting caught by U.K customs and getting charged for it but it cleared 👍 So this situation is down to Hobbyking not wanting to ship from the European warehouse and charging extortionate rates for posting from China... I know this is not the place to be ranting about Hobbyking but as you do review and test a few Hobbyking products people are going to mention it😂😂 but i promise i won't do it again🤞🤣

Slight misconception about the Corsair’s Gull wings. It’s technically bot because the engine and prop are so big, but because the fuselage is so small. The corsair fuse is widest at the engine. Comparable aircraft powered by the R-2800 and nearly as large or larger propellers like the F6F Hellcat and the P-47 Thunderbolt have thicker fuselages where the wings join. By using gull wings the corsair could maintain its narrow fuselage without compromising its strong gear legs
