I used to own one of these. Mine was a European model with large covered headlamps and a 4 spreed manual trnsmission and a sunroof. I drove it every day for about 10 years. Very quiet car and rode and drove very well. I got rid of it because it had no seatbelts and I had 3 kids.

You would think that if youre going to sell a rare and vintage Mercedes Benz that u would make sure the brake light bulbs are both working. When you stress to your potential clients that you service the cars thoroughly, that statement seems to fall short when u dont take a 2 minute walkaround before a video shooting to make sure the car is fully functional. Just trying to help.

A beautiful Mercedes from when their engineering set the standard for the world. My grandfather bought three W113s from Peter Gregg Mercedes in Jacksonville that spanned the W113's entire production run. He really loved that particular model and thus they were imprinted on me from an early age. Mary Ann, I was shocked reading the comments how overtly rude some people were to you with absolutely no justification. At first I thought they were just being pedantic (DEFINITION: When someone makes a big deal of showing off his or her knowledge. Often pedantic people show off their knowledge by correcting small errors that do not matter in the grand scheme of things.). However it went beyond that because they clearly showed their intention to hurt your feelings and insult you. That is simply unacceptable behavior and in controlling your emotions you acquitted yourself quiet well. I have a 22 year old daughter and it grates me to think of her treated in such a manner. Supreme elegance , timeless quality looks and a car for the discerning few . That said , the modern radio and other goudy bits simply lower the cars appeal and who on earth would fit a extras like that ? This car need the blingy rubbish taken out and period gear installed . If I were to be buying, I would insist on the radio and the aircon taken out .

Never liked that heavy A/C compressor the way it was mounted, especially the way it was mounted to the front of the engine block at the water pump housing ! Though it was a joy to drive and service these vehicles.
