Thank you for keeping the true talent of brass and woodwinds alive! I've long dreaded the end of real music, made by real humans with talent and dedication. When humans like you are gone, and all we're left with is what passes for "music" today, we're screwed as a species. Sorry... didn't mean to go dark. Thanks again. Your talent brings joy back to the soul. 😊
@Terastas25 күн бұрын
They're still making good music today. It's just easily lost among heaps and heaps of crap. Which is par the course for any musical era. My mother is nostalgic for the era of disco, but struggles to name any band that she liked from that era besides Earth, Wind & Fire or Average White Band. Meanwhile, all my friends growing up in the 90s still fondly remember Live, Semisonic, Blues Traveler and Skunk Anansie, and have completely forgotten that we usually had to suffer through the Macarena, Cotton Eye Joe or Barbie Girl first before we could hear them on the radio. Because 99% of the crap from those eras has decomposed and been forgotten. And I hope I live to see the day when my kids are talking nostalgically about AJR, Siames, LoveSick Radio and Rag'n'Bone Man and griping that they don't make good music like they used to.

Funny story!! Today November 27, 2019, was an absolute beaut (nearly 60° F) and I was blasting Coco with my windows open as I was driving down the levels of the parking garage (love how it echoes!!) after completing my morning University class. As I was coming around a corner, I noticed a car parked with the owner peering quizzically at the car as the horn was going off and the lights flashing... I noticed that I was at 1:24 in Coco and as I drove up - I realized the car was honking its horn and the lights were flashing IN TUNE WITH THE trumpet!! I stopped and turned off the music and the other car stopped honking! We laughed so hard and shrugged not knowing how it could be happening! After saying good-bye to the owner of the other car, and as she started walking towards the university, I turned Coco back on - listening to the car I was leaving behind, honking its horn. LOL, what an incredible drive home I had! Windows down, blasting Coco and Without You to anyone listening at a stoplight - all the while hoping I could get another car to start honking... to no avail!!!
