In this video John McGann stopped by for a little help with his C10 Truck Norris after working on it for a couple years. We just cleaned up some wiring and cobbled together an exhaust so he can hit the streets.

I just cut the side post cables today on my GMC and used some O'Reilly's special quick disconnect's .. so the come with crimp connectors that fit the ground fine-ish but the frigging positive was 2 gauge so it's like half-assed not fitting AND I didn't have red heat shrink so I'm really disgusted with the results but it's way better than the stripped threads and crappy connector side-post... I gotta get one of those smash connector tools

@wackowacko89313 жыл бұрын
Use 69 Camaro headers instead of the 67-87 Chevy truck headers. They tuck up much tighter to the under body without creating other clearance issues. You won't have to see exhaust pipes dangling underneath the truck and it won't drag on steep driveways.

Great wiring. I love watching a master at his work. This is a pretty cool truck and everything, but what happened to the Big Block? I like Small Blocks alright, in fact, I chose a '70 LT-1 for my own '70 C10. But part of the over-the-top fun of Truck Norris was the 540 cu. in. BBC.

Eccentric bushings, so they can set front camber/toe-in - both arms have them, it's just more obvious looking at that one.

You could put Sluggo in the vice horizontally and accomplish the same results possibly? Lol I too appreciate the violence however I notice the possibility of hammer slip & hand hit? Has that ever happened to you? Hopefully not! I'm bring this up because I'm a paraplegic of 32+ years and I've accidentally cut doorways too short and semi crunched my hands between the doorway and the pushring of my wheelchair. Very painful. I just wanted to share that little idea. Thanks Lucky.

Why hack up a good truck when you could have started with a short bed?
@brand-x70493 жыл бұрын
shortbed frames are getting scarce, and people are asking crazy-ass prices for them, whereas longbed frames are relatively cheaper and easier to get.
