Thank you so much for helping me find my Slavic roots! Wonderful music, dance and singing Beautiful women and strong men! I enjoy the stories the songs tell and how they came about through centuries of labor in fields and daily work. I have passed a few of these links to my 29 year old son and hope he can appreciate his Slavic roots. Brought to mind my aunt and wife's grandmother singing a song together at our wedding in 1990. Fantastické. Je jen škoda, že střih celkový dojem značně kazí. Jednak se občas netrefuje do rytmu a mimo to, zbytečnými a krátkými prostřihy značně rozbíjí perfektní choreografii.

That's a bit harsh, implying the Slovaks appropriated Hungarian dancing. Slovakia abuts Hungary and shares the Carpathians; similarity in their dancing is no surprise. But while much is similar, Slovakian style is distinct from ALL of the Hungarian regional styles of which I'm aware. Slovakian women, frankly, have better dances. If you believe Lucnica has stolen Hungarian dances, rather than demonstrating those developed separately (but in parallel) in Slovakia, please say so directly. But I agree it is similar, and also that Lucnica gives a very nice rendering of Hungarian-related dancing.
