I'm very judgemental of the feeling of actually hitting enemies. If I feel like I'm hitting air with no feedback I almost always won't play. This game is straight up visceral and I've been playing almost exclusively since March! Great for all your reasons and more now with this great updates!👍😍😇

Me, if the studio in charge of the project do everything the fans expected to see in Dead Island 2 but never did (what happened to Charon, the Consortium). And clearly explain the link between the outbreak from Dead Island & Riptide and Dead Island 2 because the "time clock till the end of the world" came out of nowhere for me.

Got it on launch. This game was pretty fun, it was my first platinum trophy. Got it my first playthrough only took about 25 hours so like, 2 long-play sessions. Didn’t encounter any glitches or bugs so i quite enjoyed it

Just played it last week beat it not 100% but the story. Havnt had a game honestly hook me in a while. This game is fire. Only thing is the ended leaves you on a NASSSSSTY cliff hanger. But leaves a lot of room for game 3

I'm on board if they decide to continue adding dlc to this game. LA has so many famous tourist attractions that would be fun to rip zombies apart in. Places like Downtown LA, The LA Zoo, Dodger Stadium, etc.

It´s a must play if your dream job is becoming an electrician, since half the time you´re busy fueling up generators, fixing wires or repairing electrical gates and doors lol. what I absolutely didn´t like about the game though was how messy and confusing the maps were. After I finished the campaign I had half a dozen sidequests left and I couldn´t figure out where the hell I was supposed to go.

i just started. and im about to head to the sewers. the game is ok. the writing and the dialogues annoys me. and the game is starting to feel tedious (maybe bc i keep countering them instead of wasting my weapons durability) also i absolutely hate how i need to keep going back for fuse. and also need to backtrack to find the right zombie for a key. wish i could just lockpick them instead. overall the game is not as bad as everyone says. loving the gore and omg the world does look beautiful

This game has been great since launch. Some reviewers just couldn't get over the unfinished generic story and some other reviewers like Moist Critical unfortunately straight up lie about the game in a bad light so it looks even worse. I'm happy more people tried out this game and didn't listen to some of those reviewers.

The unfinished story is kinda a odd one lol, the plane crash to the Rich Women's mansion does seem odd.....like they had another plot but scraped it just to make the start a bit more streamlined idk or like they thought the idea of being attached to a super famous Actor or whatever the Women from the plane was a odd choice feel a bit like rushed bits but it gets to the action faster than most and so far first 2 hours was fun as hell

One of the few games you can play with m8s coop together without having to do special things to join. Your progress is also shared so what notes and keys you pick up it shared with all your friends who are playing with you. It's long, has 2 very sweet dlc that combine with original dead island 2 map. It's the best zombie game I've seen compared to dying light. The grafx are what PS5 should look like. I concur it's the best and now with new game + even harder and more scary.

I didnt play Dead Island 2 when it came out because of the reviews. Im glad it was free this month, this game is WILDLY underrated. Ive had so much fun playing coop with my best friend. Its not a great game but it doesnt have to be. Its a FUN game. It doesnt break new geound with its story telling or graphics but the gameplay is super fun and it does look good.

Did they ever fix the issue with zombies basically respawning behind you? I remember playing at launch clearing out that first mansion/house (One with a pool and tennis court I think?) and then leaving not to far away, coming back and all the zombies were there again. I just wish it would be cleared until I left the area fully.

@@jonblackwell8803 dying light 1 to me is the prefect immersive zombie game that ever existed. it reminds me with dead space 1 when it came out, it established a standard that you always come back to, when you start comparing games. hopefully upcoming dying light game will go back to its roots and that sweet immersive Chrome engine it had not this fked up version of Chrome engine that till this day I'm 100% convinced it has nothing to do with Chrome because it looks more like unity or unreal engine. IT'S FKING SHIT!
