you should put warheads or some other kind of explosive in your reactor areas, fuel storage, etc. in order to replicate critical hits/secondary explosions when those areas are destroyed. they don't need to be huge explosions, but they should be visible from the outside. this would make battles much more strategic and fast paced

i think putting a warhead in the middle of a fighter, or next to the cockpit (depending on the design) would also work well for dogfighting

yeah, wherever makes sense. you could still take out engines and weapons and stuff without destroying it, but if you can drill the center mass, it should be a kill. ships in SE are too resilient to internal damage. yes, you can destroy inside bits, but only if you hit each one. with enough redundancy, ships can be effectively invincible. you could even forgo the hull entirely and still be able to take a lot of punishment.

I’d honestly like to see an expanse styled battle in space engineers, trading and evading torpedos with lock on and intercept scripts while dropping decoys and maybe some PMW turrets for when things get dicy, not sure if a near vanilla game might run better or even an expanse styled fight like the OPA’s behemoth vs say a UN Truman class and its escorts would be interesting to watch, but either way, these battles right now look really good and fun, keep up the great stuff!

Yeah i think one Lucrehulk, two Providences, and four munificent class ships should be more of a challenge for jack and his fleet of 3 munificent class Venators and those 2 smaller ships. Unless he decides to take command of the CIS one as suggested. Maybe next time, because i want to see the CIS ships shine for once, and give jack a much greater challenge like i said. Or the said ships above, against One Imperial Star Destroyer. AAAAAAAANNNNNDDD!!! No ramming.

Next time you guys, should man the LUCREHULKs and see if there's a difference in outcome. Hmmm What about 2 Lecrehulks and providences vs two Light Cruiser ( Arquitens-class) and one Imperial star Destroyer?
