Thank you for posting this! I especially love Ricky singing 'CHEEK to CHEEK' to Lucy! It looks & feels so real, so sincere. I get goosebumps every time I watch it. I've been married to the love of my life, my amazing, devoted husband, for 47 years, & if he could sing, I would ask him to sing this song to me on every one of our anniversaries, Valentine's Day, & on all of our "dates"! It's truly romantic & dreamy- so very beautiful! Even after all these years, I love having romance in my marriage!❤🎉

I love this beautiful couple together. I believe that they had true love for each other, no matter what happened. I still remember in the 1950 Era when my mom and my sister were little. I am the same age as their son now about 68, these were such beautiful times in the 1950s, there seemed to be alot of love, friendship, life was so comfortable and warm and cozy. Sure miss those days, it is so different now.❤🤷‍♀️🙏

The brief clip with Lucy in a wedding gown is from the movie "The Long Long Trailer." It's a very funny film that deserves more credit. There is a segment in the movie with the Lucy/Desi characters trying to make nonchalant small talk while driving up a terrifying mountain road that breaks me up no matter how many times I watch it.

I regret that I didn't stumble across your editing gem until today... and it makes me think I should scour YT more frequently and thoroughly... but THANK YOU so very much for your editing talents here. So many "compilations" and "tributes" I have seen over the years... while certainly well intentioned.... are.... well, kinda cheesy. This was beautiful, noteworthy, and memorable. Thank you for the beautiful tribute to one of my very favorite human beings of all time. I appreciate it so much.... and I shall watch it again... and again.

Funny,but you were born in the "retro" era of it, I turned 21 that year,so I am an '80's kid! lol Well,various stuff made obvious comeback of the "Nifty '50's" inspired, around '85 by things like "Back to the Future 1" besides the reruns of "Happy Days" and Laverne/Shirley) that instigated it, girls were wearing the hoop skirt(poodle skirt) design shape including those snug fitting dresses Lucy was wearing,and the hair like the "Pink Ladies" on "Grease". Guys were looking like they step out of "Grease" because of "La Bamba" with Lou Diamond Phillips and colorful knee length swim style shorts like Frankie Avalon wore in "Bikini Beach" (we called them "Jamz"). In decor those kewl "butterfly chairs" and sectional living room couches like Lucy won space agey coffee tables and kitchen dining sets.

I was born in 1953 Always have and will always -Love Lucy. No matter how many times I have seen each show on DVD, she always makes me laugh. I have also been to Jamestown, NY to attend the Birthday celebration in August. Great time. So much to do and an opportunity to meet many other Lucy fans, guests, and friends and stars who worked with Lucy and Desi. Great memories. We even spent an extra day in Jamestown.

This made me sad because they had such a passionate love for other but he constantly cheated on her and destroyed their happiness and marriage. In an interview with Barbara Walters, after she had remarried. you can see Lucy was still emotionally pained by the topic. Ugh, depressing.
