What is wrong in this world, where humans think it's okay to abuse and animal and just throw her away. She had to miss her puppies so much and the humans took them away, no wonder she was depressed and unsure of who she could trust. I know it wasn't easy to get her relaxed enough to trust you and go on a walk with the pack. Thank you so much for being Lucy's hero !!

Greed is a horrible thing. Once they couldn't make money off her puppies anymore, they didn't want her anymore. She was just a tool. So glad Lee found her. The rest of her life will be the polar opposite of the early years

She'd been bounced house to house so much, getting into a vehicle just meant insecurity. It took many, MANY trips, doing just every random errand with her along for the ride, to convince her our house was her forever home, that we'd always be coming back to the same place. I'll always remember the day she didn't tremble, but got happy, when I got the collar and leash out. Man, she was such a great dog. She has the saddest eyes at the beginning of the video but is wagging her tail at the end!! All animals need are love and security. Thanks for being the one to do that for so many animals! ❤

Lucy is incredible! Makes me so sad that she was abused just because they could! I know what that's like.😢 I watched how very patient and loving you were to her. With a peaceful and loving countenance. It's beautiful and a true testament to who you are. And your precious pack! They know what she's been through. They can feel it! They are compassionate, patient and loving because you are! It is so special to watch and see just how symbiotic you all are! Watching her blossom! It's incredibly beautiful! 💞💞💞💞💞

The way she “checks in” with you at 8:22 is absolutely magical! As an animal behaviorist & rehabilitator (mostly dogs) those are the moments that I live for! When a dog checks in with you they’re looking for your lead, that reassurance & trust that a pack leader gives, the fact that a severely emotionally damaged dog is checking in with you as her pack lead after only a week is truly a magical thing, that’s gotta make you feel great! This is the first video I’ve seen from this channel, but I’ll definitely be checking out more!
