Fantastic tutorial, for anyone struggling with the pull-off bit if you have larger fingers at 3:42, I found it easier to lift my index finger up to the 10th fret of the third string, rest my middle finger on the 11th fret of the second string and used my ring finger on the 10th fret of the first string and then slide the pattern down to get the pull-off effect. Probably not best practice but works for me. This way my index finger didn't need to move to start the repeat.

Great lesson. I found that if you play this through a tremolo pedal, then chorus, you get a great, trippy sound. You just need an acoustic-electric guitar with some inexpensive pedals (I have Donner pedals). Of course, the key thing is to play it properly, but the effects enhance the experience in my opinion.

Love your teaching videos, Justin. I've learned many songs via them. One suggestion here: Try D7 in the chorus: G C D7, then resolving to D on the "Aaaah" at the end of each chorus.

I reckon this would be an excellent song to use 1 of the Electro Harmonix '9' range of organ/keyboard pedals to play along with, especially maybe the Mel 9. I have a B9 myself and although it's mostly Hammond organ sounds, I'm gonna have to learn this song and get the pedal out. I think that the verses would sound great with the B9, then change to an overdriven/distorted guitar sound during the choruses 👍
