One thing I find highly credible about this guy is that he's willing to say "I don't know". He's only passing on what he's heard, and is comfortable to dismiss questions he doesn't know the answer to by admitting as much. Think of it, if this is a hoax a liar then they want to sell it, they want to convince people "believe me this is true!" in which case you'd expect them when asked the specific date to stop and work it out. Also he clearly knows what he's talking about to an extent, with regards to British workers in Tenerife, their attitudes, work culture etc.

It's very bizar how all those "youtubers" now ignore the facts completely and don't say a word about the proven stabbing and the proven lost bag, especially about the proven stabbing not a word is spoken anymore... Just to explain why I believe this to nonsense, this is the first anyone was hearing that Lucy has a female flatmate, this man claims that the apartment she was renting is in playas or lost cristanos, yet it has been widely reported that she had moved on from there and rented somewhere in the masca area to help search for Jay. So that debunks that claim secondly works being urged to stay quiet by employers, you know even in European law freedom of speech is not a sackable offence, if the British workers do know something about this case and they decided to go tell what they know to the press then even in Spain this an unlawful dismissal because speaking out about something that has nothing to do about your place employment does not impact on you doing the job you are being paid to do. It’s complete and utter bs. It’s more likely that the employers have just urged the workers not to speak out about this case to the media purely because of protecting the integrity of the case for the police. This is merely a common sense thing to do and it seems it’s very much woven into the Spanish cultural way of life too. In other words it’s like our version please and thank you, it’s just good manners. The gag order - it won't be an official thing, but these kind of things happen as owners and managers do not need or want police around their clubs and bars. Having your bars name associated with a missing persons case is like commercial suicide in a super competitive market like Tenerife, Ibiza, Mallorca etc etc. The staff won't be 'fired for speaking', they'll just be let go because 'theyre no longer needed' - all on gig contracts with little to no employment protection Also it's not a Spanish cultural thing (I spend half my time in Barcelona, half in London - so I'm not a pro, but somewhat aware) - the Spanish really looks out for each other However, what would be fair to say is that locals on Tenerife are 100% disillusioned by the British tourists - too often loud, drunk and not the nicest bunch to tolerate (so many people I know fit this description - it's just lad culture!) so I wouldn't be suprised if they aren't going out of their way to help too much...

Man this is such a fascianting case. Im starting to wonder though, perhaps this Ayub guy was actually involved in the watch theft... Theres two options - first is that Ayub is in deep to some nasty people, and decided to use Jay to steal the watch and then take it from him in order to settle his own debt... A £50k watch goes a long way when youre in debt to bad people... Or maybe him Lucy and Jay hatched the plan together, and Jay just wanted some free powder for the rest of the holiday. Then they have got Jay off the Island before they even started to claim he was missing, so that people think he has died in the hills/sea somewhere. From all the bits of evidence ive heard and seen. It sounds like lucy, set up a meeting between jay and someone else regarding the stolen watch. Lucy knew there was a risk of violence before setting up this meeting. But she was told no one will get hurt. Lucy proceeded to set up that meeting and go with jay to meet someone. During that meeting, there is cctv and audio where you can hear lucy screaming " you said he wouldn't get stabbed" "oh jay oh jay" im sorry. Lucy is now a witness to this if it happened and also very much involved. Lucy would have had access to jays phone as well. Or knew someone who would have had access to unlock jays phone. Lucy is the main suspect in all of this, she has connections between everyone and everything. Also why would jay feel the need to mention hes been cut by a cactus unless. I actually believe the guy talking. It makes complete sense. Jay got stabbed for taking the watch. Whether Ayub/Rocky stabbed him for the bigger plug for connections.. or whether they gave the guy the drop on him as a setup. CCTV gone from property. Whole property redecorated. Hes been done in, for one of those and been dumped in the sea. Mountain top was a clear distraction and in fact the opposite to where he is. Due to the influence of the property being redecorated, and the owner having links to the mayor. It is either Ayub is a lot more influential than what is understood, or there's bigger than him that's given him the order.
