I am a 35 year old alcoholic, that first discovered Lucy Spraggan via the original Beer Fear song about 2/3 years ago, when I was in the deepest depths of crippling anxiety/depression. It was my most played, happy-time (usually, but not always) when drinking, favourite song. Now that I am in recovery, Beer Fear part 2 is my new favourite. What an incredible journey Lucy has been on! I have no words to describe how much this song inspires and helps to keep me motivated to be a better, and most importantly, * sober * person on the harder days. I first heard her song when it was played in Xfactor, I was 16. Beer fear. I lived my teens and early twenties with alcohol, parties, and drugs. When I turned 24, I stopped cold turkey. It's been 3 years now. Sober and happy. And it's crazy to think that I feel like Lucy is on the same journey as I went through. And with everyone here too who can relate.
