The two sisters together are incredible. Lucy's feminine , mature voice blend with extreme harmonies with Martha pure and clear voice.❤❤ About the voice kid 2018. I did some researchs. Lucy was part of the 12 semi finalists. None of her 11 competitors got any fame. Include the winner : Daniel Davis. All of her competitors disappeared from KZbin. Some have few subscribers and few videos , that's all. Will Callan ,another semi finalists of voice kid, became a friend of Lucy , even if he has not her success. He did with her one or two beautiful duets. This mean, these tv shows are not a stamp for stardom. To be a star , you do not need to be only a very good singer , you need charisma, soul and strong will. Everything that Lucy has🥰🤞👍❤️. If you want to see Lucy in a completely new genre of music, listen her cover of : At last , a jazzy song from Etta James...you will like for sure

Lucy makes each type of music her own, from theater "Starlight" (Rosie due to open in the West End next year) to country "10,000 Hours", rock "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", jazz "At Last"... Don't miss some of her early releases such as "She Used to Be Mine" where at the age of 14 evokes so much emotion. With the 5-year age difference between Lucy and her sister, Martha is better with each release. For a special treat take in Lucy, Martha and their mother.

Hi Daz, thanks for the reaction, hopefully the second of many! Lucy can and does sing pretty much anything from Eta James “At last”, Aerosmith “I don’t want to miss a thing”, Lady ga ga “Always remember us this way” original songs like “ Broken dreams” duets with Martha like “ You raise me up” incredible renditions of difficult songs like “Listen” or “She used to be mine”, at age 14, “Memory” at 15 etc. etc. - have fun!

Absolutely the best version I have ever heard and I took an afternoon and listened to ALL i could find and damn Lucy and Marthas is the best by far way and above better than Borcelli/Dion !!!

Great reaction Daz! I am following Lucy for a while now, and I am happy that Martha joined the team. She really has a beautiful voice that has something special in it. A purity beyond measure. If you you´d like to listen a Mother & Daughters trio I´d recommend listening to their version of "Smile" from Charly Chaplin.

Yes I think EVERGREEN is Lucy at her best followed closely by THE WAY WE WERE, ironically both B.Streisand numbers. In Evergreen she just is able to go higher n higher n hold that note . Oh my, she just nails it n makes it all hers. Brilliant!

Hey, Daz. I am glad you found the rabbit hole for Lucy/Martha Thomas. I am also very glad that another reactor from the UK has gotten on board the Lucy project. As I stand here today I believe without any reservations that Lucy Thomas is the best vocalist on the planet and Martha is right behind her. I believe that Martha is into horses and competitive riding. Take from a old bull rider, she will change her mind after she falls off a couple of times. I really like all of the duets so when you get done with them I think her latest cover drop of “Evergreen” is the one of the best recordings she has made. And Lucy just keeps getting better and better. Thanks for the heartfelt reaction. More Lucy.

jimivision YES I would think the British reactors would be all over Lucy's song but they so far seem to be rather unimpressed but maybe Dazz will change that, seems Lucy/Martha have their largest supporters here in the USA. Hope he follows up with more Lucy Lucy/Martha !! ! FYI riding dressage is a lot tamer than bulls, show jumping a little more challenging !!! old rider here !!!1

Lucy and Martha’s duets are fantastic! But you should try to listen to some of Lucy’s individual covers. The duets or what I call more prayer and uplifting type of songs whereas Lucy sing some really different things also amazing performances!Her cover of Aerosmith’s. I don’t wanna miss a thing. Or cover of Lady Gaga’s always remember us this Way. Just two examples of many.

brdgannon yes on 8/12/2023 they released their version of WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD in a different setting/format and it is stunning, Martha reappears for a duet after a year and WOW !!! She has grown/matured and so has her voice !!!

Remarkably Martha was a child and still is young in this a couple of years ago, and only 13 now. There is so much to this performance to comprehend, much! This performance deserves an award, and such music is a pleasure to listen, and I’m into rock. Lucy’s music is enjoyable listening both clean and clear and she sings a good tune to sing along to daily and enjoy. Inspiring with feeling, and with beautiful rich tones. Lucy connects and listeners feel her singing. Lucy Thomas has got over 60 fantastic songs on KZbin, and Lucy now has millions of fans already all over the globe. Hopefully now one more. 😉

Lucy is great, but when she sings with Matha, they are otherworldly. I really recommend Oh holy night, or save it for Christmas time, but really, those harmonies….. just heaven.

They are so amazing together. Martha is only 11 in this video i think. Their newest duet is What a wonderful world. I also recommend lucy singing Brand New Day and Evergreen. Great reaction. When i first heard the girls sing The Prayer i played it nonstop. Still listen to it regularly. Angelic voices ❤❤❤

Lucy was on The Voice Kids UK at 13/14. Fun to watch but save it for future historical interest. The 19-year-old powerhouse singer of today is something to see.

Hi Daz first time seeing you and Thanks for the react to Lucy and Martha Thomas. I think it is important to understand that Martha here in this song was but 12 1/2 years old !!! Lucy had just turned 18 so there is 5 years and 8 months difference in their ages. and yes Lucy is a pro with about 60 songs recorded and 7 with her sister Martha, who at that young age sings because she likes to she says it is a hobby and its a sister thing also little sister following big sister, It takes sheer guts for her to sing with Lucy who of course is more mature and has been singing a lot longer, You dont see it but little Martha is sitting on a tall stool to get up even with Lucy makes her look taller, but yes Martha can sing, I would suggest their song WHEN YOU BELIEVE when Martha was 11 and we get to hear Martha sing a lot on her own and Lucy took it easy on her, also their last song SMILE where the Girls are joined by their Mother Louise, yes she sings also, for a special Mothers day celebration. The prayer is my favourite song with the sisters singing as a duet. It was suggested earlier to listen to Lucy's audition song for the voice-kids moon river, I would suggest that you then listen to Lucy singing it again when she revisited the song in july last year

One other thing also, Martha here was 12 1/2 years old, and this was her sixth recording with Lucy, Lucy did her fist recording when she was 13, just a couple months short of her 14th birthday, over a year older than Martha is here. how many 12/13 year olds make the life decision on their careers ??? Few.... Martha is blessed with a beautiful voice, but she considers at this time her singing a hobby, something she cand do with her big sister. Martha has done some solo songs for fun, she can do it but she has not recorded any as of yet although she has stated she is "thinking" about it. It would be a shame if she did not pursue at least some singing, and she already has the audience and supporters, but fame and being known can be hard on a 12 to 13 year old girl. Realizing here Martha is only 12 1/2 years old and to sing with Lucy takes talent, skill, and GUTS !!! Because Lucy is so darn good !!! Kudos to Martha but how would you feel if your older sister was Lucy the best and most powerful singer going ??? And to just sing with her, and then have people want to compare her to Lucy??? There's 5 years and 8 months difference in age and Martha cannot make that up, she will always be Lucy's little sister. But to make her mark in the singing world she will have to sing solos, do HER thing and she will have to be good, Martha has to decide that, but damn she sound fantastic with Lucy and they harmonize so well, All that being said Martha has her interest in her riding and competing and she is as good a rider as singer, and guess what, Lucy does NOT ride, so Martha will have no competition there,

Daz about the 10th time watching but I have something for you to think about, about your statement that Martha is not as into Music as Lucy. First consider her age, martha her was 12 years old, she is 5 years and 8 months younger than Lucy who is 18here and the best singer out there, think how little Martha thinks about singing with her older sister, Martha knows Lucy is the best, would YOU have much interest in singing with Lucy ??? Martha has lived he life in Lucy's shadow, just think of the challenge she faces to try and compete with Lucy and to be constantly compared to Lucy. Martha has chosen to pursue an activity she is excelling in and does NOT have to compete with Lucy, her horse back riding and competition, You see Lucy does NOT ride, Martha is no longer in Lucy's shadow, she can do her thing and NOT be compared to Lucy. It is sad because Martha is an excellent singer for her age, but she is 5 years and 8 months behind Lucy and she will never be the same age as Lucy. We raised 2 girls 4 years apart and saw the same thing, the younger chose not to compete with the older sister did her own thing and let us know they were 2 different persons and DO NOT compare them, same thing with our 2 grand daughter sisters. Martha has lived her life and known as Lucy's little sister, imagine how that feels, and when she is on her horse competing she is Martha Thomas, the equestrian in her own right !!! I hope this helps understand the situation.
