This really is impressive from Lucy. How can a fifteen year old portray such emotion- incredible!! The same expressions are shown in her grossly overlooked rendition of "Reflections" at the same age. Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera would be impressed with these two covers, I'm pretty sure.

Love your choice to begin appreciation week. Reactors generally pick the same songs over and over and I loved this one as I don't think I have ever heard anyone else react to it. Lucy is a safe singer. She has a very pleasant voice, however, there is nothing about her that makes her different from any number of other singers.

I must respectfully disagree. There are multiple things that differentiate Lucy from any other singer. She has been reacted to by many vocal coaches along with professional musicians and singers. They all are amazed by the absolute perfection of her vocal performances. That is their opinion, my opinion is that she is the best that I have heard in my 70+ years of life.

@@kennethsorrels8850 you'd be wrong, however, you are entitled to your opinion. Vocal coaches get paid by KZbin, as do most reactors. A good example of an under age 20 singer that is truly talented, is Angelina Jordan. She arranges, paints, and vocalizes with unmatched tones and range. She is not as smooth as Lucy, but, overall, way more complete as a singer.

@@murtheblur We are all entitled to our own opinion and favourite singers. I listen with my own ears so don’t need vocal coaches or reactor opinions. Your view of a singer is much different to mine and others. So nobody is wrong. When you say a safe singer you mean a singer that most people including I generally enjoy and prefer. A singer with a good voice. Then yes today that makes Lucy different. I listened a lot of AJ and yes AJ is different but I didn’t like anything she did, but I don’t like bizarre art either. Probably I’m not creative. Others - you, like and prefer AJ or think she’s special which is fine. Contemporary bumblers making it up as they go along are safer singers because they can make mistakes and all think that’s correct and great. If Lucy makes a mistake with her crystal clear clean voice it’s spotted immediately. Rembrandt was a safe artist but some prefer contemporary art. It’s all down to personal taste and own ears. You obviously prefer a more interesting different vocal with twists and subtitles, but most enjoy a song with good melody and tune, nice harmonies to sing along to. Each to their own, or both.

Thanks Dazza for starting with one of Lucy's older songs, she was just 15 when this was recorded and for being so young and dealing with the subject matter Lucy killed this song. You have already reacted to her first commercial recording, ONE DAY, when she was 13, and killed that one, and another one she recorded at 14 for her grandfather was DESPERATO, beautifully done and I hope you progress through the years as you go through the week and watch Lucys progress, You can tell when a song was recorded on Lucys video by clicking the time at the start of the heading, 3 years ago, and it gives the exact date it was posted, Lucy was born Feb 21 2004, subtract the dates and you have her age, which I think is very important, Thanks for the Lucy week we will see you tomorrow !!!

This is one reactor That I do not care for at all. He spends two minutes blabbering about himself before even starting the video of Lucy; he is shown full screen while the artist is in the corner. NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER! I think the reactors that put Lucy or any other artist in full scene and a corner for themselves are much better.
