Lucy does put all she has into each song, her emotions, her angelic voice, eyes, facial expressions, and too much to list, this is the essence of her talent, I don't know of any other singer who can synchronize so much at once. Lucy truly loves to sing, and put her passion into each song, you would have to be a professional to break down all the parts that she uses to be the best of the best.

Great reaction. You nailed it with your description of how Lucy presents a song. Lucy is a raconteur, a story teller. I love how she can slow a song down and she can do this with ease because she has the breath control to extend notes with perfect clarity and tone. Her lower register is the best I have heard and I get more joy from listening to the build up to the big notes than I do from hearing her nail the big notes. I also more enjoy the wider camera angle that is allowing us to see Lucy using her arms and hands to help her express her emotions. ❤

Bob, your thoughts about Lucy and this performance are a carbon copy of mine. You have captured and articulated exactly what it is that sets Lucy apart. She is much much more than a vocal virtuoso, she is an extraordinary performer who lives and breathes every song she performs. I will be at the London Concert and the Meet and Greet in October. I will travel all the way from Adelaide, South Australia to do so. I didn’t have to think twice about it. When you can, please react to her when she was younger, then you can see how she has evolved, and gone to better and better!! The song "Run" from snow patrol, sha sang it at 10 and 15 years old!! And "She used to be mine" from the musical waitress! At 14 and at 15 live!! Excellent for her age!! Thank you!!!

Hi Bob Good to see you back with Lucy sorry about your dog They become one of the family. What a fantastic rendition of this song by Lucy .As Will.I.am said about lucy. "Lucy you are the real deal" Her diction is perfect her vocal technique is master class and she just has the most beautiful voice. She is imo. The best female vocalist on the. Planet. I prefer this to Whitney´s version ,Lucy just has a better voice She makes everything look so easy no stress or strain On that last note after those incredible belts she hangs on to it for ever. AS you know Lucy has already covered a number of Whitney Houston ,Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion songs and crushed them all. I have my tickets for the London concert I missed the Manchester one and was not going to miss this one Thanks for continuing to support Lucy our Queen of song.

Hello Bob. Sorry about your dog. Appreciate you reacting to Lucy and delving into how she is able to project her emotions onto us. Most performers convey little emotion outside of their vocal performance. Some twist and gyrate trying to hit all the notes and hold them. Lucy is able very professionally make everything she sings to appear to be nearly effortless even when difficult and taxing. Her face and eyes relate a tremendous amount of emotion to all of us. She seems to gaze into our souls. My guess is this is a God given talent -especially since we are not with her seeing it live. Have my tickets for London and are excitedly planning the trip. Wish that you could attend. This might be when she gets some of the publicity that she deserves and starts really making it big!

She will have a live concert in Tokyo in September and London West end Theatre Royal Drury Lane in october. Tokyo concert is sold out but London concert is still open to anyone.🥰👏👍

Bob, sorry about your dog. Pets can really become family. RE Lucy: The first part of this piece is beautiful, pure, silk. Then she really leans into it adding more power and it becomes more emotional. But, still, beautiful silk. A fellow reactor just discovered Lucy and is working through her library. He has been astounded. He finally said he discovered that it is about Lucy, no matter what she is singing and how it was covered before , Lucy makes it beautiful. I think that sums it up very nicely. Notice that Lucy reached a little but no screeching, just pure silk. I got into music beginning 1950 on Hawaiian guitar (many moons ago) In my lifetime Lucy is among the top 5 or 10 female singers.

It is matter of the artist committing to the song. That is what set's her apart. She is committed to the unique story of each song she performs. She wants you to understand the story. Most artist just want to just make it through the performance. Not Lucy!

Nice reaction Bob. Lucy nails everything she covers. Taking on whitney, Carey, Streisand, Dion, Etta James and the list goes on Aerosmith. The Eagles. She doesn't shy away from anyone. Lucy is only twenty and has laid down a solid foundation for a mega future. Chris Broom knew what he was doing when he spotted a thirteen year old school girl performing on a TV talent show. The musical "Rosie" will be the springboard to mainstream stardom. BUT there will be a down side, it may be the end of Lucy's KZbin Performances ---- very sad!! R

Great reaction. I got here because of Lucy, and I stayed. Keep on going. :) As for Lucy, I agree with you. Not many singers can touch your soul or give energy to your soul like Lucy does. At this moment I can only think of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" Gilmour's guitar solo. As he did it, you can listen over and over again, and every time you play it, it always touches you so deeply that it shakes your soul. The same thing happens while I listen to Lucy's voice, especially her performance of "Halleluyah". This is so touching and mesmerizing... I guess she is a true gift to Humanity like Pink Floyd was earlier. They both shine like Diamonds, especially now, when the world seems to long for directions, asking for a way out of this mess...

Bit late coming to the party here but ive just listened to whitney's rendition of this song and in my opinion Lucy's rendition is superior, which isn't a really a surprise to me as Lucy has this remarkable ability to improve everything she covers. I understand from people who attended Lucy's concert in London that it was the best concert they had ever gone to, with her stage presence and beautiful voice backed by a 30 piece orchestra was better than her studio recordings. So what a contrast to the recently revealed video by WOP that the billion dollar Taylor Swift has lip synced at least at her last four concerts. I wonder if her audience realised they were being ripped off.
