I was sat second row, right in front of her. She was visibly nervous coming onto stage, but absolutely nailed the whole night. You can watch all the videos in the world, but nothing will prepare you for how truly astonishing she is when she's in front of you live. Recordings, even this one, don't do her justice.

I was lucky to be at this concert and Lucy opened with this, it was brilliant, it was awesome. I met locals who know the family they told me Lucy sings at friends and family weddings! Imagine that! This concert could almost be considered a prerequisite for the now well publicised musical "Rosie" where this concert will raise her profile even higher now. Lucy's got an astute brilliant team behind her, drip feeding her talent to people all over the world via KZbin over many years now. A lot of up and coming young artists should take note and don't get sucked in with promises from the huge recording giants who just see Dollar or Pound signs. Hi Christopher , i hope this performance can finally put to bed the "can she do it live comments," having seen her sing this on the night i can not detect any difference in the production of the video, thankfully they have released it as sung , this was her first number and she was very nervous, as the night progressed and her confidence grew , she also grew, the show, culminating in a superb rendition of "hallelujah" which had the audience on their feet for the fourth time and not a dry eye in the house!! truely a night to remember. Hi Barara, during the show Lucy did a question and answer session and the interviewer asked for a show of hands concerning the makeup of the audience, there were as you say a good number of americans and canadians, a few assorted europeans, and probably two thirds british, as you point out regardless of birthplace they absolutely loved her,!! to the point that she received a standing ovation before she sang a note,! this was her first number and as the video shows she was very nervous, but the love from the audience lifted her and she gave us a superb evenings entertainment, i don't think there was a dry eye in the house at the conclusion of the night, when she finished with a mind blowing rendition of "Hallelujah". 6 albums! Rosie album was published March 1st. Standing ovation before the first note, yeah that's the Lucy effect. We had the time of our lives. Yes she was nervous during this first song as you can hear. Who wouldn't be. This is for now the only clip, but she sang 17 in total that evening. We agree, she really is the best.

No singer has the arsenal this girl has or such a solid foundation to which to rise..... and as I have been tying to say to you, if you could possibly go back to her earlier stuff..... you'll see this for yourself, because you only jumped on board when she was 16 with Have yourself a Merry Xmas. Again.... try Memory when she was 15..... the range is, to repeat myself again, just off the scales. Her tone when 13 singing Moon River..... just incredible for a young girl of that age. JaapFilius You're absolutely right. Lucy and Angelina are two very talented young lady's, and are well on their way to world wide recognition. It's a blessing that they are reminding us of some of the great music of the past but also the present. However, I feel there are some commenters out there, who feel the need to compare these two lady's as if it's some kind of competition and that one is better than the other. It's totally pointless. Also, don't we have enough female POP singers in the world, some of which hide behind special effects such as dancers and flashing lights at live performances. What we've seen here is classic Lucy Thomas --- Like her videos, virtually a blank backdrop with just her we can concentrate on. it's perfect. Now looking forward to the next concert video release.

Sorry but for me there's no competition because Angelina is too blatantly influenced by Amy Winehouse and just not even in the same league as Lucy in any way shape or form. Yes, Lucy nailed it again. At this moment I have two favourits: Lucy Thomas and Angelina Jordan. Two different genres but these young women are spreading their wings now, with big live concerts: Lucy did it in the UK and Angelina in the USA. And they are both at top level in their genre. Chris, interesting point about the comparison to Karen, but Lucy has a style almost identical to Barbra........she has a heavier, richer, more layered vocal than Barbra...........no, I agree; Lucy is one of a kind that no other solo performer can match; her sister, Martha, has a similar style to Karen, which is softer, but with that beautiful, sultry, so emotional! another new and great vocalist that hit the scene mostly in the past year is Tori Holub. She actually sounds almost exactly like Karen Carpenter...and has several shorts of Carpenters songs but one very recent full song cover We have Just begun that is simply incredible. We are blessed to have Lucy and now also Tori. Tori is a different genre from Lucy so there is plenty of room for both of these young divas to shine and blossom. It was great seeing a live performance from Lucy.

The tickets sold out really quickly, especially the meet & greet. They were gone within 2 hrs of the tickets going on sale. Hope that you get the opportunity to go to a future concert as you have to be there to appreciate just how good Lucy & Martha really are. Good luck for the next one. 👍

Chris...As a Karen Carpenter fan myself (kinda natural for us 60+ yo codgers) I have a recommendation for you, or for one of your patreons to buy in for...Her name is Tori Holub, and last month she dropped a 2024 "Carpenters" song called Something to Believe In. That and her Carpenters covers blew my ever loving mind!. As for this one, it was not overproduced, like I feel some of Lucy's recent covers have been. A tinch flat, or sharp or nervous is what makes the human voice HUMAN. & gorgeous
