Lucy Wise: Luminous (Live)

This song explores social anxiety, and how for some sensitive folks, walking into a party can feel like being lost at sea. Writing this song, Lucy imagined everyone as a glowing sea creature, and she felt a message form: that everyone is luminous in their own way.

I saw Lucy perform this at the Malmsbury Town Hall a few months ago. It was as good then as this version. I've been trying to get Susie Lanigan to play one of Lucy's songs on 'What the Folk!' on 3PBS on Thursday mornings (no success yet). This one would be great! They played Rowena (Lucy's sister) on Studio 5 Live a few weeks ago, so fair dos, I reckon.
