Your liquid to powder ratio is amazing! I have been doing my own nails for years and i still struggle so much with having good control of my acrylic like this!! Your brush looks so wet but your acrylic is still not running all over the place 💕💕😒😒😒

Lots of times I thought I wasn’t doing something right as I felt I didn’t have the proper consistency going. The viscosity of my liquid and powder. When videos are sped up it doesn’t show how long people let acrylic set before they maneuver it down the nail. Another thing that worked for me is getting faster monomer. Slow monomer helps for practice but faster setting monomer is key for sure and that’s something lots of YT videos don’t show.

@@kristavossler9725 acrylic doesn’t have a setting speed, per se. it’s the monomer that affects the setting speed. That’s reason why lots of techs don’t have acrylic beads running all over the place because they usually use faster setting monomer. Like on naio nails website they have 2 different monomers. Max adhesion which is regular or maybe slow setting. Then they have High Speed. Kristy from the Naio Nails channel only uses High Speed in her videos. Max Estrada from EnailCouture only used his only monomer a year ago. But he came out with a new one that is faster setting. Now he only uses that when he does acrylics on his videos. Sometimes he mixes both to have a speed that is in between both. That’s what I do with his monomers. If I use slow setting monomer I get impatient lol and it is runny. Mia secret monomer seems slow to me but evie from longhairprettynails says it’s fine for her. Normal speed. She also thinks the one from glam and glits is normal speed but I think it’s a bit faster. Not sure. Hope that helped.
