Good ideas I went to Aldi today but feel I need to go to my local Lidl now too!! Don’t throw your stale bread though, blitz it up in to breadcrumbs and freeze they come in really handy for cooking x

Love a bit of Lidl! We do our festive food shop online (Ocado) as I hate the stress of it in person! Btw, you can freeze those big bottles of milk if you need to save space/extend use by dates. Have a lovely Christmas x

if you like crepes I have the easiest & best recipe for them. 1cup of flour 2 whole eggs 1tbsp white sugar (you could do 1/2 tbsp as well) 2tbsp veg oil 1 3/4 c of milk a dash of water any temp blend or whip up. use a small pan to cook the crepe. pour 1/2 cup of mix into pan & cook on each side for 1/2 min to a minute. put whip cream & fruit inside or whatever you want. we also like nutella & banana yum!

Hey - just a tip...With the storage thing - just think about where you got it from. If you got it from a shelf, it’ll be fine in the cupboard. Got it from the fridge? It needs to be refrigerated. X

You should try freezing the extra milk you buy. It will last a lot longer than the expiry date and you’ll always have a spare when you need it and no one will open both bottles by accident (it does take a day to thaw completely so take it out in advance).
