@@ankavoskuilen1725it refers to model planes. Little ones you put together yourself out of a box of pieces of miniature plane parts. A spitfire is a type of aeroplane. I am not British either. But their English is familiar to me, as I am Australian. I thought it was the funniest part of the skit. But like with all jokes, it only works if you know the unspoken reference. I hope that makes more sense to you now : )

I also don't know who has English as their first language, as much of English humour is embedded in the English language itself. So I am happy to explain... : )
