The rainbow trousers actually suits you with that white top, I love it and it's not even my usual style.

Yeah, they look pretty good on her & I thought they would look atrocious. What is really confusing is isn't 32 a size 10? Has she lost weight? Or are the sizes from this company off even though she said they are good? She did say she usually buys the 10s though. She fit into size 10s & 12s which seems strange for a 14. Clothing sizes are a bit silly these days though.
@kaylietrembath5 жыл бұрын
Most of the items in larger sizes fit much better & the black version of the pants looked much better even though she didn't seem to like them. May be she was just wearing clothes that were too small but she fit into & she likes her clothes tight? Not sure.

Love that you're doing more ethical clothing! One question that I've wondered with these videos; how much of the clothing do you usually keep and how much is sent back?

Me too! I think it would be an interesting piece of context in haul videos, putting them a bit more in proportion

AiApoptoxin4869 Agree! Part of the problem with fashion hauls is normalising the idea of buying so much new stuff all the time, it would be good to know how much gets sent back

this is actually a great question as I recently found out that most fast fashion websites will just throw out returns all together rather than reselling them as its cheaper than paying someone to repackage them.. such a disgusting waste!

Ahh ok so many thoughts. Apologies for impending essay comment. Firstly - loved this vid, had never heard of this brand before and was def into it. Next - I really wanted to see a more "completed" outfit with a couple of these. I felt like the rainbow pants were begging for a long line blazer/duster sitch and was curious if a leather jacket with the last dress would maybe have solved your pocket dilemma? Also maybe explore potential shoe options? If you're really feeling energized, even dip into the realm of accessories? I realize this can add significant more time/energy for you, but I think it could really take the helpfulness of these to the next level, ya know? Another sustainable brand I would LOVE to see a midsize take on is Sezane. They're def a step up in the price department, but would bring the French girl chic-ness to another level (possibly many levels). I'm dying to try, yet deeply afraid of disappointment. Be our fearless guide?? Lastly, I would love a year end re-cap of all the clothing you tried and kept from this year. What was a dark horse surprise MVP? What did you think would be an instant classic that didn't live up to expectations? What did you end up reaching for again and again? Sometimes I wonder what your closet looks like, because you try on such varied items - do you feel like you have a great number of diverse things to choose from or is it more of a hindrance that drives you back to your comfort zone? TL;DR - complete the 'fit, try Sezane, sum up 2019 for us love ya and keep it up xx

Lucy & Yak is actually surprisingly affordable in comparison to other sustainable/ethical brands. (You don't usually hear sustainable, ethical and affordable being used in the same sentence.)
