Christmas is the day that the Christian church has chosen to mark or celebrate the birth of Christ, the 25th of December of each year.
It is a day celebrated in many ways, and visitors and residents of Lüderitz Town flocked to Agate Beach, known for its agates found along the Pacific Ocean between Newport and Yaquina Head.
