I was born in Lüderitzbucht when it was still a very bustling town. I went to the Deutsche Schule. My dad worked for Barclay's Bank. I learned to swim at Badestrand just behind the Felsenkkirche

The huge beautiful window behind the altar was a donation from the last German Empress! I was baptized in this church onb1939!

Luderitz is booming economically now with huge deposits of oil discoveries nearby and green Hydrogen projects. New port to be built there to handle anticipated growth. Its now the centre of Oil companies. Namibia 1st oil production is anticipated to start in 2028 and Luderitz is the base for that. So is construction of 10 billion usd Hyphen green Hydrogen project.

Ek wonder of julle in die reëls sit, dat jou trokkie nie minder as 'n sekere KW en wringkrag het nie, kyk ek weet dat vas sit gaan jy seker maar sit, net nie die hele trip deur nie 😆😁

Daar is nie voorskrifte sover ek weet nie, maar die organiseerders sal jou wel sê as hulle dink jou voertuig het nie genoeg krag nie.

In die gedeelte langs die see ry julle noord. Dit kan dus nie rigting Luderitz na Walvisbaai wees nie. Maar dit net so terloops. Lekker trip en goeie video!
