Yes, please! Show us how you did the veneer. It looks like you used your small Marrakech cutters to make color inserts into a sheet of gold, then did a silkscreen over top of that. I'd love to see you do it, to see if I'm right. I see you usually leave the baking bases in the jewelry. Do they also work as a mold, that you could remove after baking?
@SweetyBijouPro2 жыл бұрын
Hello, dear Diane! Thank you so much for your support! Yes, I used the cutters from Sunrise Marrakesh collection #2, that's fun to use them with endless of possibilities! About baking bases, actually no, they must stay inside of the jewelry, if you will remove, with 2nd baking the clay will be definitely deformed as with the heat the clay become softer... The base made to easing the jewelry making process :) You no need to use a lot of clay to make the wanted shape, the bases are very hard and not easy to be broken. I just love how easy I can make domed shape beads for my jewelry projects! :)

@@SweetyBijouPro I love that you feel that way! It’s why I started with polymer clay. I want to be independent and be able to do my own thing but still eventually make a living. I was a nail technician so I used to get some of my art out that way, but then Covid happened. I cannot draw or paint lol so I eventually found polymer clay. I was making cute little gnomes until I found your channel lol I didn’t even know I wanted to make jewelry until I saw your videos. You are such an inspiration! 💕

What is the size of the triangular baking base?
@SweetyBijouPro2 жыл бұрын
The size is 6 cm - the largest from 3 of my :) My first similar pendant is made with 5cm base! The bases make the process much much easy!
