I must have Halloween on my mind because I kept seeing weird faces in the patterns. It would be fun to experiment with the b+w scraps on a colored background. I always find inspiration in your posts! Thank You.

Are these pieces just sanded and buffed to that beautiful shine?

Yes! They are just slightly sanded as the veneer was pretty smooth! And then I buffed on my Foredom buffing machine. The Premo clay gives a good shine after buffing:)

Towards the end the oval indented peice that u laid the gold gem in ( my fave) but how did u make it sink in like that. BTW it looks like a cameo to me without the gem. Love it. Love them with the color too Just awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I used baking blank oval donat, and i just put on it a clay veneer, smooth surface inside the donat hole and baled. Then I buffed to a shiny look:) you can find them in my shop sweetybijou.com - baking bases! Thank you!
