Hii, Are you using external sustain pedals or inbuilt sustain function?
@rachitraman Жыл бұрын
I'm using an external sustain pedal

Have you tried Casio ct s1 portable keyboard? I'm planning to buy one. But I'm confused between e373 and ct s1.
@Shashanksoni98 Жыл бұрын
I like the sound of e373 especially concert grand piano, but i like the minimalist design and aesthetics of ct s1, I know you can't have the best of both worlds in this budget, but if it's possible for you to record the same music or any other piece of Ludovico Einaudi in ct s1,it will be very much helpful. Thank you.

Just beautiful bro!! :') How did i miss this one! How have you been doing??

Yooo hemanth, glad to have u back. Thanks g, the piece needs a lot more work. Love I giorni when ludovico plays it! I've been doing alright bruh, thanks for asking. Lost a Lil motivation to play the piano for a while. Ive almost saved enough for a new kawai digital piano. Planning on uploading a video once I get that. Desperately need weighted keys, I've been practicing Mozart's k545(1st movement), scott joplins entertainer, Turkish March and still working on fur Elise and river flows in you, these pieces need the weighted keys. How are things on your end? How is the p125 treating ya?

@@rachitraman Yayy! Finally!!! It's gonna be here... Excited for you! Wow! You've got so many incredible pieces on your practice list. Still using piano secrets for most of these? And also how much time do you spend in a day for practicing? My piano has been well rested for months now.... It's time to bang those keys after I've lost some touch. What do you suggest? Practice the pieces that i already know and try to perfection it or start practicing new pieces? Btw are you on Instagram?

@@DoctorHems hey bruh! might take a few more months for the Kawai though!! I'm not using piano secrets channel, I found out some other amazing channels and I started sight reading, so i look for channels that have the sheets. I recently replied like a novel to someone, ill paste that comment here Here it is " I didn't learn this piece through sheet music unfortunately, my sight reading skills were not good enough for such pieces. I do play using sheet music, but very beginner pieces, I found the pdf for Alfreds Basic adult piano course vol 1 ( kupdf.net/queue/alfred-basic-adult-piano-course_58c8b387dc0d60c930339027_pdf?queue_id=-1&x=1644678898&z=MTI0LjEyMy4xMDUuMjM= ), and this course explains how to get good at everything that includes rhythms, finger technique, dynamics and sight reading. Here are some of my favorite youtube channels 1. Jane - kzbin.info . She displays the sheet music and does slow tutorials for literally any song. I learn the song here, practice it slowly with metronome and gradually increase the speed. My No.1 go to channel. 2. Piano Secrets - kzbin.info . 3. Michael Maiber - kzbin.info Keep practicing sheet music my dude, don't ignore it. I regret not learning sheets for 8 months and always practice with metronome. Thats the mistake I made. I rushed the learning process. Hope this helped" 4. Piano keys 5. Piano lessons on the web " Try this out hemanth, and I suggest you to learn a new piece always while perfecting your old pieces. Or else it gets very boring and its not fun at all. After a hell lot of research , I've discovered this. So this is my practice routine which i ve been following for a month now : FIRST 15 MINS 1. Hanon exercise no 1 and 2 at 60 bpm 8th notes and 16th notes. 2. C E G major scales chords and arpeggios at 60 bpm same as before. Both exercises take about 15 mins thats it. I dont do much as it gets boring and apparently this is more than enough to develop finger independence. Its important that you do it everyday. Once im confident enough, I increase the speed and learn the other major scales. Im aiming for 100 bpm. 3. Alfred piano course - 20 mins Then I start practicing the pieces that get me high, 1. Fur elise A and B section with metronome till I reach perfection - 15 mins 2. Mozart K545 A and B section with metronome - 40 mins 3. Turkish March - 10 mins 4. River flows in you - 30 mins 5. then i play every piece i know - 30 mins. SO u add it all up and i play for 2 and a half hours everyday dinding!! XD Dont have social media though.

@@rachitraman 😲 wow. I'm stunned. Your progress is legendary. The transition from learning piano via tutorials and midi to accessing piano sheets has taken you to the next level. Looking at your consistent practice everyday (for nearly 3 hours 🤯), now, I'm truly inspired. I shall learn to sight read as well. So to start with, Alfred's pdf is good and then I'll use the youtube channels that you mentioned as supplementary? Now looking at hindsight, do you believe learning piano through synthesia is useless? (Doesn't teach anything else other than the piece that you are studying) Sorry for the late reply!

At 0:51 what did you press. And why ?
@rachitraman Жыл бұрын
So to play that part at 0:51 u need a 88 keys piano. Unfortunately mine is 61 keys, so I had to octave transpose so I can play that part. I pressed a button to reduce the M.Octave option on my keyboard which lets u access the lower registers of the piano

@@rachitramanokay thanks. BTW How many hours did you spend learning the piano each day?
@rachitraman Жыл бұрын
@@Shashanksoni98 I would play for 1-2 hours usually when I was really in feeling it. Somedays just 30 mins cause I lacked the motivation. But i consistently kept practicing. The goal is motivate yourself, as it's quite hard and you feel like giving up. Push through!
