My thoughts are with you. It's Bagpipes for me. Still after 5 years, I can't listen to a bagpipe, without tears that are rolling down my face. This song was used in Belgium as theme for a documentary about funerals, how people cope with death, all over the world.

I'm so so sorry for your loss. I heard this song first in a similar way, when my father was near death in fighting for his life in the ICU. He survived by a miracle of science and doctors and nurses and time. I still listen to this song every now and then and cry remembering that time and how close we were to losing him. Bittersweet is exactly how I think of this song.

I can't even portray how much I'm looking forward to hearing Ludovico's new album as I'm sure that if the rest of the pieces are even half as good as this one, this will be an amazing album.
