Amateur golfers think that playing the same clubs as a pro is the holy grail to instantly playing the best golf ever. Who cares what brand is stamped on the back of club or if its the newest latest model. What is important is to have custom club maker make the clubs for you. If do they still perform well for 8 or 9 years., just a tweek of lies and lofts, and a few grip changes. No need to change every new model as the OEMs want you to.

The player/caddy relationship in pro golf is very complicated and nuanced. If there is little to no connection between them there will be a lack of trust and a breakdown in communication. Maybe there is a reason, or reasons that we are not aware of.
