This is completely undeserved. Ludwig made it to Platinum with a 53% win rate, while I’m stuck in Bronze with a 51% win rate. The difference? My KDA is significantly better, and my macro game is leagues ahead-easily 100x better than his. Riot’s MMR system is beyond flawed, and this is undeniable proof. How is it fair that someone with clearly inferior stats and gameplay can climb, while I’m held back? The system needs serious fixing.
@huttserl52 минут бұрын
@@SirAstien because ludwig actually works on himself and bettering his game instead of blaming the system, and you can clearly see it in this last game that promoted him lol. Admit your own faults, work on them, and git gud, otherwise stay forever bronze lmao
@studentt60645 минут бұрын
@@SirAstien Who cares about k/d/a in this game? Gold earned/drakes earned/barons gotten is an overall more interesting statistic to compare, especially considering that as a jungler those drakes/barons are likely involving him. Also, Lud has an insane amount of games, it's possible that some people generally just don't play enough that bad teammates/good teammates balance out and just say "hardstuck" after 20 games, which likely isn't enough to filter out variance in teammates. Whereas Lud can filter out the variance through the number of games. It's true that you are only 1 player out of five, so carrying can be hard. But overall, if you are better and play enough games, MMR will balance you out. The sheer fact that good players even on new accounts have 0 issues climbing back up from nothing is pretty much proof of that.

@@Squidmoto3 Like Ludwig could have legitimately improved a lot right before the last day and this would still be pretty lucky. But at the same time you don't randomly get 11 straight wins with 0 improvement in your game, you could have 11 straight games of great teammates but not get 11 wins like this unless you pulled your own weight/not drag the team down.
@Squidmoto316 сағат бұрын
@@harpot678 Yup. I have zero doubt he improved, but yeah, definitely a lucky streak. I've gotten to Master with a 66% winrate and even I don't think I would win 11 plat games in a row on average because of how little agency you have in the game if you're not on a 1v9 champ/role. If he played 25 more games I guarantee he'd end up somewhere in high gold.

@@Squidmoto3 Keep coping buddy lmao. Before I got diamond for the first time I was perma sitting around a 50% wr in low emerald/old plat. Eventually for a few weeks I took a break and did some learning watching high elo VODs and I started playing again in last year's season start. I hit diamond in 180 games with a 60% wr. You absolutely can have insane improvement especially the lower elo you are. And as the famous phrase goes "luck is when preparation meets opportunity" he prepared, he learned, he focused up and he made sure to take advantage of the cards he was dealt. You can call it "lucky" to win a ton of games like he did but that shows you know nothing about league despite your other comment saying you're masters. If you are good you will go on decently big win streaks fairly often. On my climb to diamond for the first time I had quite a few 6-10 game win streaks and it wasn't "getting lucky" sure I got what I call "playable" teams but I also was playing very well and laser focused on my game and always planning my next move. I'm surprised as a masters player you don't know that league is all about focusing on your own play and working with the cards you are dealt instead of bitching in team chat or spam pinging.

I got to diamond for the first time in Split 1 of 2024 in 180 games. I went from gold to diamond. You don't need a coach, you just need to stop blaming your teams, disable pings and team chat (/mute all) and focus on your game and your game only. Farm well, die less, and make your own decisions. Tbh if u watched the run (I did for the past 2 weeks) u'd have seen that although yes he is improving he did get sort of a lucky winstreak going in the last 2 days where most of his laners would carry the game regardless of what he did for the most part. He was silver 2 stuck literally 3 days ago and in my honest opinion is below even gold level in terms of the consistency in his skill (especially when he autopilots or gets distracted which is more often the case) but has certainly moments of decent play where u could perhaps argue he could compete with gold players. If he would play another 100+ games he'd definitely demote quickly to at least low-mid gold imo if not even lower and that's no hate whatsoever, I was rooting for him the entire time , respect the hustle and also the people that helped him

If low elo players would drop their egos, study a few high elo VODs and type /mute all every game the ranked distribution would go from majority of players sitting around bronze/silver/gold to majority of players sitting around gold/plat/emerald.
