If a complete video of this performance it should be issued on a DVD post haste. Singing of this level has all but disappeared and its documentation needs to be available to all.

So wohltuend Ihre Worte zu lesen. Es geht (fuer mich) in dieser Oper ausschliesslich um wahrhafte Liebe und es ist Ludwig van Beethoven wunderbar gelungen das zu vermitteln. Er haette sich gewiss ueber Ihr Kommentar gefreut. Belassen Sie Ihre Kenntnisse ruhig ungeordnet. Bei solcher Sensibilitaet werden Sie mit klassischer Musik immer Freude finden.

This is the best overall version. I like some of the others for the "acting", but some of the parts get overpowered. Not here! Thanks for posting!

Berauschend schön! Mein Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit klassischer Musik sind nur oberflächlich und ungeordnet. Dieses Lied habe ich erst hier vor wenigen Monaten kennengelernt. Kein anderes Stück, auch in der modernen Musik, vermittelt für mich so intensiv und wahrhaftig das Gefühl der Liebe.
