I love how much recognition Fear and Hunger got in the past year or so. I played this game for countless hours since the demo version came out and for me it's on par with Dark Souls as my favorite game of all time with how well it captures Dark Fantasy as a genre.

For anyone curious. The reason why he failed the marriage is because of God affinity. The ritual circles can pray to any God, but you should only pray once each. The statues are based on a specific God, therefore, you should pray to the specific God the statue was designed to (Except for All-mer, he doesn't care if you pray to other gods on his statue, unless if you repeat. You should pray to All-mer, though) Also, praying to different gods on a ritual circle that you already prayed before will result in negative affinity. If you want to make sure marriages work, just pray to Silvian on her statue (near the elevator to the cavemother's nest) and/or a ritual circle once. Source: Frapollo (Fear & Hunger content creator)

@bozztoto1238 im not saying enki is trash, hes just worse than other characters, say in a line up of 4 athletes, cr7/messi/mbappe/haaland, no one is "bad" per se, but u could clearly tell which are better than the others and whos worse, enki is good, but compare him to cahara/darce, he just falls short. he does make hard mode early game somewhat easier with necromancy, i will give him that, but cmon now, compare his skills to cahara's en garde/lock pick/escape plan or darce's leg sweep/fast attack, he just cant compete man, not only that, he cant wield heavy weapons and cant use gaunt armor, his skill tree isnt even that good, which one of enkis skill u unlock and immediately go "oh yeah, its enki time" and u enki all over the place? while with darce u can unlock leg sweep and go "hippity hoppity, ur doors are now my property" or learning en garde with cahara and basically farm every basic goons in the dungeon (even the night lurch can be killed somewhat safely with en garde)
