The Pike game really revealed several weaknesses in Lud's gameplay: - Not understanding what other champions can do or what they want to do. Also, not understanding what resources they have to dodge, when they're safe vs. when they're vulnerable. I think this is part of why he rages when enemy champs have a dash and use it to dodge his Amumu Qs - he doesn't know in advance that they can do that. - Not knowing when to hold abilities and when to use them. He was spamming Pike W and E just to move around and didn't think of them as resources that make him vulnerable when down. This sometimes happens with Amumu Qs or Smite. - Wanting to mash keyboard after going in, rather than picking when to use abilities deliberately - Thinking about when hitting a hook will be useful (with team present) vs. when it does nothing. This is super common for bronze players playing hook champs like thresh or blitz -they're just so horny for hitting their hook, regardless of whether it will do anything in the moment. Lud's getting better at this, but he sometimes tunnel visions on "ult will hit 3" even if there's no plausible follow-up. This happens a lot on Amumu where he will walk and talk damage in a teamfight for a few seconds to try to get more people in his ult, which is usually worse than just starting the fight decisively and preserving his team's health.
