I don’t think Ludwig realized that kei trucks are one of the most attention grabbing vehicles there are. One of the main warnings people give about kei trucks is the attention you’ll get. I drive a Honda acty to work, and I get at least 1 person approach me to talk about the truck every single time. Sometimes a group of dudes will walk up to talk about it. They always want to know how much it costs, where to get one, gas mileage, top speed, or if it’s legal. If Ludwig wasn’t a streamer, he’d still be getting the same amount of attention while driving that truck. It’d just be a different type of attention.

@@Subpar-Laziness These all kinda depend on what country you live in. Here in Canada, JDM's as new as 2008-2009 can be imported. In the US they have to be older than 2000. How much they cost is anywhere from $3000-$10,000 depending on age and whether it's manual or not. In terms of mileage, they are very economical. My 36L capacity 2008 Honda Vamos Turbo L gets me anywhere from 350 to almost 500 KM's on a tank depending on how much highway driving I do. One thing of note is that, depending on your specific model, you might have to get premium fuel. Top speed? The whole point of the kei car classification was that they have limited sized engines. So Kei cars are not really meant for the highway speeds we have in North America. Japanese highways top out at around 100KM/hr and that's about the max speed you'll get out of most kei cars. Are they legal? Generically, AFAIK yes. I've heard stories of rural farmers buying up Kei trucks to use as farm workhorses. There are also people who buy them to concert into mini-campers.
