I must have watched this amazing performance about 30 times and I am still mesmerised. The power that this teenage girl Tina, casually delivers is incredible. Yes there are other talented guitar players who can play this piece but, Tina is one step above , she had been studying classical guitar from an early age. Therefore everything is perfect, economy of motion, huge violinist vibrato……..

What I love about Tina S is her versatility. Classical, rock, metal, Progressive, and finger-style. All played as good as the original's, and most of the time, her version is better than the originals! More power and intensity of sound, and her own interpretations of the titles are killers. She is my favorite guitarist in all the world because after only 4 yrs. playing electric guitar she is amazing! If she is an alien, she would be in the best band in the Galaxy.

She only does the hardest stuff. EVH Eruption, Steve Vai "For The Love Of God", Jason Becker Altitudes, Dragon Force Through The Fire And Flames. 😁😎👍

Tina Setkic is an enigma. She stopped uploading videos about 5 years ago and no one knows for sure what has become of her since. Some have even speculated she was an alien child dropped on Earth to learn guitar and then was taken back to her home planet. LOL! Seriously, she did a cover of Through the Fire and Flames that was seen by Herman Li and his reaction was “OH SHIT!”

Hi Monty. I'm glad you've now been introduced to the amazing Tina S. This was the last video she uploaded at the age of 17. At 18 she dropped off the grid and there's been lots of speculation since. She started studying classical guitar at the age of 6 and switched to electrical at 13. Her teacher posts her first video at the age of 14, a cover of Eruption by EVH, and she just took off. As Bob mentions, she only does covers of very difficult songs. My other favorites are the same three Bob listed (For the Love of God, Altitudes, and Through the Fire and Flames of which Herman Li did a reaction to earlier this summer), but let's not discount her covers of Dream Theater, Malmsteen, Metallica, and Megadeth just to name a few. Note: other than the first few, she rarely does note for note covers. She usually puts her own style on them.

Stick Gary Moore's The Loner in there, and you've just about nailed it. Reduces me to tears. Altitudes and For the Love of God make up my top three, but the order swaps around from time to time. Herman Li's reaction, to his song, was priceless!

Her holding the pick and utilizing the other 3 fingers on 1 hand and all 5 on the other on the neck is hypnotizing. I'd encourage you to check out her Eruption extended cut on 0.75x- that's love.

I read a post from her teacher/coach, Renaud just yesterday on another reactors channel. Renaud said that after they got permission to make this video and post it Tina practiced this for three days and then they shot the video in Renauds studio. Tina started out on a acoustic guitar with training and instruction. She never even held an electric guitar until she was 12 years old and at 13 years old Renaud started to teach/coach her. She was 17 years old when they made this video. Renaud said in his post that he has not heard from Tina since she was 18 years old and does not know where she is either.

I've watched countless Tina S reaction videos and the average response has been dumbfounded speechlessness. Most of the time I've had to wait a full thirty seconds after the lightning speed guitar playing ceased before the reactor came to their senses enough to say something "brilliant" like, "Jeez, that was good wasn't it?" Actually, their silence spoke more eloquently about what they experienced than words ever could. This is what I think happens to us while watching Tina S covers. Our brains begin to roast when 450 degrees of Tina S quadruple-speed guitar virtuosity is applied to them. We have to hit the stop button every thirty seconds to allow a cooling process to take place lest our brains sizzle out of control and melt. Tina S is performing guitar shredding impossibilities right before our very eyes. Hence, our confusion. Tina S, in our minds, is just too dang young to be playing that good! The average person can't swallow the theory that practice alone got her to that level of amazingness. A gift from God? Probably. At least that's my view. There have been two good Tina S reaction responses that caught my eye. 1. I think the "S" in Tina S stands for SPED UP! 2. "Watching Tina S play should be the easy part and her playing should be the hard part. But my experience was that watching her was the hard part because her playing appeared to be the easy part." Weird. But true. Afterthoughts. Tina has been negatively accused of being emotionless while playing. Granted, she doesn't gush with emotion like your average rock guitarist but here are three reasons why she acts that way. REASON 1. Tina S is NOT a rock guitarist. She's a classically trained guitarist. Notice how she has her guitar propped up on her left leg. Classical guitar style all the way. Classical guitarists are prim and proper and subdued on stage. Tina is probably mimicking the great classical guitarist Segovia's expression while playing not Angus Young's. By the way, Tina IS expressing emotion, it's literally pouring out of her instrument. REASON 2. Tina is not performing on a rock stage with 30,000 lunatic fans expecting guitar virtuosity and gobs of emotion. She is performing in a simple studio with one cameraman as her audience. She doesn't need to perform rock star stunts like playing the guitar with her teeth, or setting it on fire, or biting off the heads of bats. She's just playing the damn thing! Better than anyone that I've ever seen. REASON 3. The third reason why Tina isn't showing emotion is because what she's doing is easy. Yes, easy. How much emotion do you show while tying your shoe laces? Zero. Right? Why? Because tying your shoes is easy. You don't grimace and squint and bite your lower lip while tying your shoes because you don't need to and it would be weird if you did. Tina doesn't grimace and squint and bite her lower lip while shredding the guitar because she doesn't need to. The end.
@0ParisFrance Жыл бұрын
REASON 2. "She is performing in a simple studio with one cameraman" HAHAHAHAHA LOL ! The cameraman is her guitar teacher Renaud Louis-Servais and TINA S pays her guitar lessons with him, she's not there to clown around and make faces !!
@DaveSVT-rn4of13 күн бұрын
She is actually better than Van Halen. She even has a beautiful little smile at the end of the video that most people miss, probably because of being worn out from watching her hands. Van Halen always had a smile on his face when he was performing, her facial expression before the end was just pure concentration.

That's the 3rd movement & she's plying as it's written. Very rapped and aggressively and she's on it; note for note. Tina S.? ..- Van Halen's "Eruption"? Yeah? Seems like it would be barley a warm up exercise for her. Look at her .. No flash cloths; Seated; Flat black back drop; Guitar has a blond neck for contrast. No exaggerated facial expressions; No huge & cool amp. stack showing; It's all about correctly executing the music for her, Not look at me I'm so cool.. Just the music That says a lot about out music hero's vs. true talent. Just Say'n.

she couldn't stand the toxic hate ????????????????????????? Hahahahaha You don't know Tina's character at all !
