I go to Italy just about every year. I've had my fair share of mediocre pizzas in Italy. But I've also had pizzas in Italy that beat the best pizzas from other countries by a mile. I think 4 pizza places is way too small a frame of reference to draw any conclusions from. Especially if you've got such a tiny frame of reference when it comes to locations you've been. I've had amazing pizzas around Naples and Bari as well as around Ancona and Venice. My main tip would be to avoid the tourist traps and look for a more local pizza place away from the main streets. From my experience they're way cheaper and better in every single way. I think it's because they don't feel the need to adapt to what the tourists might prefer and I think that's how you get a more authentic pizza.

I think the ultimate streetfood in terms of not making a mess is probably South Korea's UFO Burger. They found a way to create a burger where the bun completely seals in all the other ingredients, creating a burger that is never going to have sauce or toppings calling out the back or sides. It's a very westernized street food instead of something authentic to South Korea, but it's still really cool seeing how they innovated on your basic burger.

When he was explaining how he thinks the rest of the world has caught up on making pizza I cringed so hard... Not all of Italy actually knows how to make a good pizza... @domeomega13572 жыл бұрын
But you can find decent Napoli style pizza in most places in Italy. Also Sicily makes great pizza, it's just less runny in the middle. Americans think they have good pizza but the ones I've seen are just way too thick with disgusting looking cheeses. For anyone interested I'd recommend watching the vids from a channel called 'Alex' about pizza. Although he's french he really does manage to replicate the perfect Napoli style pizza.

My mom was having balut once and she wanted to heat it up. So she put in the microwave but forgot about it. So there was just baby duck embryo splatter in my microwave.

it's true, apparantly the acid denaturates the proteins, like when you cook a steak!

one time my mom sent me in to store to get the groceries since her back was in alot of pain. She told me I could get a treat for myself, so I found a package of octopus for only 8$ and I was very curious since I had never had it. Me being the aspiring chef, took it home and cooked it myself. It was amazing, and I even gave a little bit to my siblings to try and they loved it

Bruh as a Filipino, balut is 🔥 I can eat like 10. I know it doesn't look appetizing and eating it for the first time won't be pleasant but when you get used to it you're gonna crave for it.
