I wrote some notes after I watched this till 6 am: Reading into it makes it somewhat cringe (1 initial flaw and average person and maybe an English major might make). You got to enjoy the storytelling as it is, like a manga. Primarily a shonen with a westernised mindset+premise. The immersion for that might be a bit difficult given the way it's told. Like the narrated summary of a given story. But kids who already have loads of experience watching Minecraft (it's rules and culture) and even Minecraft related storytelling videos (Itch) might be able to suspend their disbelief much easier. The way you take it in and it's style reminds me a lot of western fiction books that explore a new premise. Overall taking these medium based factors into account, this was comparable to a decent implementation of a written book, even if it would only be big entertainment to someone who is new to this type of storytelling
