I’ve went actual proper camping when I was really young in a place McCrea Lake, where we actually had to take a canoe and a bunch of backpacks a good distance into pretty much isolation. Though, I don’t know how long I’d last considering a damn raccoon managed to open a bear proof food barrel and stole our beef jerky. Everyone saying they would be crazy not to see their family for 10k. Every one else who knows that it will only make the challenge harder as having just seeing them basically restarts the challenge mentally. Where as you dont see them and you can keep going as your brain has adjusted to knowing the goal and knowing they are okay (cause if they were Mr.Beast likely would cancel or allow them to temporarily leave the challenge) and knowing its worth it in the end. But the second you see them your brain triggers the want/need center and you suddenly really really need to see them again causing you to start having doubts about staying. Edit: I have a 2 month old and my wife said if I had a well established way like they do to keep making that 10k without risk to myself and I decided to stop she would be happy but also upset since I could make us enough to live for a while in just a week.

Also we don't know their financial situation, but considering they weren't receiving any money from Hase at the moment, his wife likely needed to work while he was participating in this video. To answer Ludwig's calorie question, if you have a calorie deficit, your body will break down body tissue to make up the difference. This is most commonly in the form of burning fat, since fat is an energy store. However, in a continuous calorie deficit, your body will attempt to lower your calorie needs by breaking down things like muscle, thus lowering the calorie deficit. This is why you also lose muscle after a sustained diet. However, the way you discourage your body from breaking down muscle is to use it, this is why working out while on a diet is extremely, it prevents muscle loss along with the fat loss. But, if you kept your calorie deficit indefinitely, your body will eventually run out of stored calories and you will eventually die of starvation.

@colinmanley73492 ай бұрын
Idk how people are saying that spending way longer away from your family for the financial security would benefit you and let you spend more time with them. At a point you have to realize this is a mother handling 2 children all alone and her perspective could easily shift to "hes spending all this time away when im struggling with the kids just for a bit more money" which could easily ruin a relationship forever and lead to a divorce down the line and all of a sudden boom, never get to see your kids again. Anyone with children and a wife would understand especially when they say they want you home, anyone who doesn't get it doesn't have either of those things and is probably under the age of 25

I have been homeless for 3,000 days and had to deal with fires and burglaries and breaking my back all keeping me from experiencing any kind of success. My dog died last month on top of everything. Its its own kind of miserable and there's definitely not been anybody offering 10k a day. This honestly made me depressed to watch.

Take care of a toddler and a newborn alone is incredibly difficult and having partner is important

@@alexmason3190 yes it is. That is why children that have both parents statistically end up better off the children with a single parents. A new born is incredibly difficult bc they need constant care. A toddler, well they don’t call it terrible twos for nothing. Plus after a birth the woman’s body fucking wrecked and needs time to heal. The hormones changes are also bad and cause postpartum depression. Being alone with the kids while dealing with postpartum depression is terrible. Also in a the US, we don’t have parental leave so she is probably working a job as well. Love the spontaneous interruption for the Lacrimosa; that is just class! When I watched the video the first time, I did the same thing. Mozart wrote the first few bars of the vocals and sketches for the instruments, but it was Franz Süssmayr who completed the orchestration (and the requiem, for that matter, Mozart had only completed the Introitus but had written some of the vocals for the movements up to and including the Domine Jesu). I suppose you know all that. The requiem was one of the first pieces I learned in my youth and was a catalyst for my becoming a musicologist/historian (among other things). I really like your explosive commentary, sometimes it is just really random. Thanks for the video.

11:50 As someone who was adopted young, as in passed around in foster care for the first couple years of my life and only settled down with my adoptive parents at ~2, the first couple years is soooo important to creating a bond with a parent. Literallly soooo important even though it doesnt really "show" or you would even think about it.

Finally a sane person in the comment section. It is disheartening to see people not understanding the value of kid parents bond and how important it is in the early-stage. People doesn't know shit about psychology saying how one year doesn't matter for a baby's emotional growth towards their parents. And on top of that hating the wife for taking responsibility and how she is so selfish without knowing her reasoning is so sad.

Idk, I still think that was stupid and wife didnt help him. Yeah its easy to say that she needs him now, but wtf are those 300k after taxes? 200k? if he gets 40k a year this is 5 years on his life working. With this logic if he stays there for 6m in woods he would get money for 20 years at least. 20 years he can work half of his usual working time and live well. stay 6m in woods or work for 20 years 40h a week, yeah "hard" choice

The video still feels more like spectacle than story. If Jimmy boy would just edit in a different style to allow the viewer to get to know them better and make the audience feel like they are in the woods surviving with them, then I would enjoy his content a lot more. Instead I pretty much knew from the start it would be over edited, there would be forced drama (because they were never going to kill each other), there would be too much voice over from Jimmy and what worst is that his thumbnails start to feel like click bait when he isn't barely in the videos but his thumbnail is him dangling from a tree (could be different for you since AB thumbnail testing).
