but then again, Luffy still needs his god-nika form. So I suppose he takes the form of them in this animation, making them huge. Also, ever noticed how Luffy doesn't go back to his normal form after defeating Shanks? I think it is intended to make it look like Luffy now being permanently in his god-form

He could probably still do all the other stuff, but he would just be a giant at all times.
