Out of all them, only one has ever apologized, and this is after she was removed from her abusive home. And I did cut her some slack after realizing the home she grew up in. It's to bad I don't know what happened with her father I moved, but we had become friends after a while.

A sad thing is that I don't think Filthy Rich is fully aware of how Spoiled is raising their daughter. From what we've seen of him he seems like a nice guy. Especially in 'Family Appreciation Day' Diamond doesn't start bullying Apple Bloom until after he gets out of earshot. At the end he is making her participate with the "water singing" and warning her to be respectful. I think he is busy with work leaving Spoiled to raise Diamond. It's an unfortunate situation but Diamond has truly risen above it!

I love how this show change my mind about character in 1 minute. First Discord, next Sunset, now Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon and later in 6 season Trixie. I love it. I really hated Diamond Tiara but when she started singing song the pony I want to be. I even wanted to hug her and give her hope. Her mother deserves a monthly banishment from mane 6. Maybe this punishment would teach her something. Well prison can change a person, maybe not always but sometimes. At least Diamond Tiara has a good father.

5 years - 5 long and excruciating years - of hating Diamond Tiara. 5. years. And yet, with one episode, all that hate for her crumbles away. One episode was all it took. One fucking episode. I still can't get over it, but I sure love it. Being one of Amy Keating Rogers' last episodes for this show, she sure left her mark in our feels, huh. This season has just been.... how do you even begin to describe this season? Dear Lord this show is amazing. I'm going to need a paper bag to breathe into, excuse me.

Having completed the series, and not taking anything away from what came after this episode by any means, I still think that season 4 through this stretch of season 5 was the height of the series, capped off by this episode. This episode, for all it did, still has a strong case for being my favorite episode of the series, as well as one of my favorite episodes out of all the series I have watched. I don't know how it would have gone if I was doing reactions back then because I will never forget being completely speechless for the entire last 7 minutes of this one, not being able to do anything but just smile stupidly as it all unfolded. I don't think I could have managed any commentary at the end at all other than something to the effect of "How about that....? I'm completely speechless...."

+Hedwig The owl Hey Hedwig, To be honest, I found/find it plainly ignorant to hate her. Or anybody for that matter. Hating Haters just shows how little capable you are of compassion IRL. Not only towards others but yourself as well. And of how little you understand how hurtful people actually work. It's simple: Hurt people hurt people. In other words: Diamond Tiara was never just "horrible". That's black/white like thinking. She was confused as everybody is who needs to put others down in order to feel right (or better... you could also say artificially complete and worthy. Too bad it only works for a short time so she needed to strike again soon). I don't hate on anybody or anypony, and no, not Spoiled Rich either. She's confused as well, which is clearly pointed to by the fact that she has no real friends. But for people like you who need to hate others in order to feel right (in other words better) in comparison - because that's all hating others is serving in the end - you now have Spoiled Rich. I don't say you are wrong, by the way. There is no other way to act until that changes because of your insights, just as it was impossible for DT to act differently until she began to clearly see what was happening to her by treating others the way she did. +Hedwig The owl It is a big difference to say you were entertained by a villain - but still understanding the tragic behind them - or to complain that you "don't have someone to rant over how horrible she is" which is really lack of compassion, just needing a character that you enjoy to take down, to hate. Which always comes from a need to feel good in comparison. Let me tell you a little secret. If you don't understand it now, you may one day you do and you will find it incredible helpful: Everything you percieve, especially how you judge it is your projection. It's not pure, what it presented as your perception is your brains personal interpretation of reality. Therefore your judgement about others mirrors your personal thinking. No matter if it's what you call reality or TV Show. You don't interact with the world, you interact with your story about the world, with part of yourself in the end. Example: - People who find others childish for liking MLP are suffering from not being able to allow themselves to like stuff if their brain labels it as childish. The thinking that causes them to attack others is attacking themselves in the end. It's like a personal "daddy" in their head that keeps them in check and ultimately limits them. So the amount you hate others, the world, even cartoon characters is the amount you hate yourself in the end. The amount you take others down is the amount ... you get the idea. You can say "It's just a TV show" all you want. The brain works the same way with whatever you percieve, its all a mirror of your own thinking. That's psychological reality.

Expecting a breakdown of MMC level at the very least, especially when they get their marks. 7. I think Amy did something very clever by introducing her mom in the way she did. Now she can be a lightning rod, so most of the fan's dislike for Diamond Tiara transfers to her mother. Get what I mean? I think Amy employed a little bit of viewer psychology there. 8. I think it has something to do with the fact that their cutie marks are shields. What will they be defending, and from what? And perhaps an antagonist that poses a deadly physical threat rather than a just a schoolyard bully. A way to sort of show the CMC's have grown up, going from inspiring friends and dis wading Diamond Tiara, to fighting a bigger evil with bigger consequences. That's sort of how it went with the Mane Six, going from Nightmare Moon trying to instate an oppressive government, to Tyrek, a demon who's only goal was to steal souls and cause never ending destruction.

i’ve been watching another reactor react to this show. and i thought i’ll say my peace on diamond terria’s redemption. yes i’m happy she stood up to her mom yes i’m happy she’s friends with the cmc and yes i’m happy she more or less apologizing treating them horribly. however... there’s one person or pony she needs to apologize for is scootalo. her insult on her disability is a kick in the face to all disabled people. making her feel horrible because she can’t fly due to what most people call a disability is a big insult and it hits hard to home for me. when i was younger there was a kid who used to bully me constantly just because of the fact that i was handicap. he did years later “apologize” for his actions and he’s one of my best friends i’ve had. however the difference between him and diamond Terria is because he actually apologized and meanted it. diamond Terria just realized her mom was a horrible mother and found worth in the cmc. i don’t see her telling scootaloo she’s sorry for making her feel bad about her not being able to fly. yes.. her apologizing as a whole would cover that but to me that action deserve it’s own apology.

After amending fences, Do princesses dream of magic sheep, Brotherhooves, social, this, and some others. I think MLP has reached new heights, it has always been not only my favorite show, but arguably my favorite work of fiction ever, but with Season 5, they have shown that they aren't the same as other cartoons, they aren't staying the same or losing imagination, they have managed to not only provide amazing comedy with every episode, but with many of these, tug at the heart as well, Season 4 also did a decent job at this, but season 5 thus far has been the most character focused season of all time, it is near perfection.

It's like if someone went back in time and carefully sabotaged every episode. So maybe Applejack's parents will show up due to a time rift or something.

This has been a season of dreams. Rarity opened her boutique in Canterlot. Rainbow got to fly with the bolts in a show. The CMC got their marks. We got to see a glimpse of the lives of the background characters. What a ride... and I am loving every minute of it.
