Really i think shanks is ready to actively search for the one peice now that luffy is stronger and he can compete with him on equal terms not that that he was using him it just doesnt seem like something he would do if u think about it he was waiting on a island the whole time while luffy was doing his thing and watching his bounty grow also when luffy almost died he was one of the people that showed up so i highly doubt the "he was using him theory" But if they do make this dark and shanks is really manipulative then i gotta hand to him thats really fcked up 😢 For me whatt woud make him evil in my eyes is if he searched for the one peice while luffy was young and found it only to teach him that that the world/time doesnt wait for anyone so im actually quite happy he started searching when luffy got stronger or at a certain level or understanding of the world this is plot people and im savoring every last bit of it😤👌
