For real, also the fact that Law can't perform Amputate on someone with better haki, which he did on Vergo who clearly displayed mastery over armament, +was able to shambles Doffy, which again he can't do on someone with much better haki, and it is back in Dressrosa. The answer for me is simply that oda didn't want to be drawing kid's metal coated in armament all the time since it would probably take a lot of time and effort to do so on every single panel (because in stampede we see him coat his metal in armament). Is more a drawing issue than a power issue, But people don't tend to think about that. If the tobiroppo were said to be using haki and almost none of them used visual coating, the guy that is fighting a yonko won't?? 😂😂

Luffy was gassed, but we have to remember he was kicked by an admiral at light speed, then almost was killed being launched through the barrier. And he went through it twice because he had to come back. That is an insane feat, and he still beats Kizaru afterwards. Personally, I think Kizaru was a special case for Luffy. That's why he was so gassed. Kizaru was just hacks, in my opinion. I went back and read the chapter and big mom says word for word; “the shockwaves hit me from the inside out, even my ribs are broken. Trafalgar’s technique is dangerous.” Kidd basically did no damage to big mom or kaido. Kidd has never shown haki, law has never used haki outside of breaking out of doc a’s devilfruit. Luffy slams them and doesn’t even need gear 5

Kid obviously couldn't do as much damage against big mom because law had internal damage, however big mom still put in mad effort to dodge some of kid's attacks. Law’s teleportation will be useless because luffy can spam futuresight. Luffy is superior to them in every category outside of stamina, but even with stamina they all have a stamina issue with their abilities. Luffy has better haki then them, better speed, better endurance and durability, better battle iq and better attack potency. Kidd and law have no defense against ryou or conquerors coating. Literally luffy IN BASE FORM was boxing with kaido and damaging him significantly while kidd was surprised you could even do that and law’s attacks barely did any damage to him. They wouldn’t be able keep up with kaido in speed let alone keep up with him in hand to hand combat. He fought him in gear 4 clashing evenly, then gets knocked through the dome, transforms from gear 4 to gear 5 which takes more stamina, goes through the dome again and takes more damage, throws kizaru away, chases him down, fights his 20 clones and takes damage from them and eats kizaru’s laser attack. Then after all that stuff he did HE STILL ONESHOTTED KIZARU and then he passed out. What do you think would happen if he went into gear 5 and immediately hit him with a white star gun?!?!

The most honest way of talking about this topic is this(first acknowledging that once the stamina issue becomes less of an issue by the end of egghead/beginning of the next arc this conversation will drastically change): Law and Kidd's first and really only win condition is Luffy's stamina issue. If he hits them before he deflates they both get one shot, maybe two shot (If lucci and kizaru can't take more then neither can they). The only other possible win condition is the Op Op fruit seperating Luffy to confuse him long enough for them to both hit him hard enough. This is a question mark given Gear 5th and how it would interact with being separated from the Op Op fruit (like can he cartoonishly put himself back together?). Other than this they have absolutely no way of beating Luffy. It's really a matter of how much time does he have before deflating right now in the story and the answer will change anyway really, really soon.

I think in a high stakes fight, Luffy would beat them, but as a collab, I can see Law and Kidd seriously pushing Luffy. They can certainly stall him if he uses G4 or G5, both of which exhaust him pretty fast. They both proved to be good tanks on Onigashima . Unless they get caught in some ACoC gatling, they could endure some of Luffy's attacks. And if he doesn't use his most advanced gears, their coop could be very hard to handle. Law will carry the fight tactically, while Kidd is a relatively good brawler. Law could simply Shambles Kidd out of Luffy's strongest attacks, or teleport Kidd using Assign or Damn Punk right in front of Luffy. I'm sure one of their objectives would be to pin Luffy down. If they do that, they could wreck Luffy with a combined Damn Punk + Puncture Willie. But I think ultimately, Luffy's insane endurance, DF and haki mastery would allow him to overcome. Once he properly figures them out, and they're a bit tired themselves, Luffy can go G5 and quickly end each one of them.

If kidd can sign an magnetic pole to luffy and law can maintain his teleports withought being ko'd they can wait out the clock, but that is a slim chance because of luffys future sight and speed. If a puncture willie lands than that would definitely be a huge factor of waiting out the clock but even attempting it is not only dangerous but taxing. I dont think the match up favors them at all cause luffy has only one downside, but everything he gets im exchange is too good.

Kidd is resisting or immune to almost all damage Luffy is capable of aswell. He laughed at BM for destroying his metal and outright told her it wasn’t him. You can say Luffy will catch Kidd without armor but how easy is that. Kidd and G4 is an extreme diff either way fight. This logic works both ways and less so for Luffy, his rubber body getting hit vs metal getting hit and Haki hitting his body vs Haki hitting metal. With Laws powers alone he could probably stall the short span of G5 on his own. The man spent an entire morning/afternoon running from Doffy and Fujitorah before he got any noteworthy Haki, stamina, or awakening. Law will also likely trick Luffy out of his sandals especially in a fight where Luffys attention is divided. There is no path for Luffy to win that fight

The debate when he brought up Katakuri killed me. 🤣 Imo, Kid and Law aren't evading the attacks Katakuri dodged when he fought Snakeman. Law has the abiltiy to dodge the attacks, but its only a matter of time before it catches up to him if I'm being honest. People don't realize Snakeman's attacks don't stay the same constant speed. Luffy's attacks in that form increases in speed and power every time the attack changes different directions and Law and Kid both don't have the speed, observation haki, or reaction speed to keep up with Snakeman's attacks even though their feats and scaling is above WCI Luffy's. I'm not saying Katakuri is stronger than Kid or Law, it's just that even though they're much stronger than any WCI character aside from Big Mom, they still have disadvantages against people like Katakuri and WCI Luffy (especially Kid since he doesn't have the speed, reaction speed, hax, or observation to evade those kinds of fast going attacks). Law has the hax to at least dodge, but how can he dodge if he doesn't know where the attack is coming from/going to hit? Law only dodges attacks when he can react to the attack. If he can't read the attack speed and react to it, it's really pointless to try and teleport. Until they get future sight, I doubt even current Law and Kid can react to WCI Snakeman's attacks.

Luffy is packing up Law and Kidd no cap. There’s nothing Law and Kidd could do via speed or Power in just G2-G4. Kaido said it himself: It’s been ages since someone could face him in a serious fight. Luffy avoided a Thunder Bagua completely where as Law got speed blitz by it on Rooftop. Luffy is doing lasting damage via Advanced Conquerors which is why both characters are shown exhausted. G5 Luffy is just way too much for them. Kol need to stop trying to argue about stamina as if these characters are Surving the power and speed differences. My main thought is whether a Damned Punk or Shock Willie are comparable to Ragnarok or something like that, because if they are then even if Luffy is getting hit by them , which probably won't be the case most of the time, he can take a lot of punishment. Bro was literally taking Ragnaroks to the face and laughing it off. Even the speed argument doesn’t look great because neither Kidd nor Law showed anything close to of the physical relativity to Hybrid form Kaido or Kizaru that Luffy did. Obviously neither of them really attack physically but speed and durability wise I think it looks kinda bad for them, I cant see either of them tanking any G5 attacks without substantial damage. I think people forget how much luffy is improving with each gear in terms of its drawbacks... Also Luffy has been shown to be capable to do everything now by wano. Before wano Luffy training allowed him to go into the new world without using gear 4 until doflomanigo and after doflamanigo Luffy has shown us different forms of gear 4 but we also notice that he gradually fighting stronger people while in gear 4 while using it alot more frequently. Luffy also can use gear 3 and 2 with easy now and is slowly getting there with with 4 but with 5 being introduced he must again learn to not let to much of his life force leak out. all this correlates with haki. before the time skip luffy haki usage was not good hence why he had so many drawbacks in gear 3 and 2 after the time skip luffy haki is improved to be able to use gear 2 and 3. Now after wano we see that luffy will have to use gear 5 alot more and gear 4 as well while fighting stronger opponents to improve his haki to the point where he can fight for longer times and have less drawbacks we know this because haki blooms in battle.... Wrote this just to say by the time we get to elbaf and we see big mom again, Luffy will be strong enough to tack on big mom 1 v 1. So I believe Luffy can take on Kidd and Law but it may be too early to tell as of the current chapter... Luffy gear 5 drawbacks is a factor that won't be one for too long depending on the opponent, so again I think a better question is how long can law and kidd fight Luffy for by the time we get to elbaf

As Kaido said, Haki transcends everything. Even if we leave out Gear 5, Luffy has ADVANCED Conquerors, Armament AND Observation which is busted. Law and Kid have very basic Haki in comparison. Also, Luffy's durability is out of this World. Even though Law has a broken Devil Fruit, Luffy would eventually smash them. One Bajrang Gun is enough.

That is meaningless when kaido literally speed blitz law with a thunder bagua. Add the fact that "homicidal drunk" mode kaido is even faster and stronger, and was "competing" against snakeman luffy in terms of speed. Luffy absolutely has the potential to speed blitz law. In order to teleport law has to first register a danger and decide to dodge with it. This fact also has no bearing on who would win the fight, cus lets be honest luffy is a dumbass and takes Ls left and right throughout the story, but lets at least have a bit of integrity instead of saying "teleport = untouchable".

So we know Luffy's Stamina issues are how he progresses when he gets a new form. Just like Gear 4 against Doflamingo, he got way better at using it by the time he fought Kaido with it. Same with Gear 3 etc. this is just how Luffy progresses in Strength, unless he gains a new Haki ability. Luffy basically fought multiple times before he actually fought Kizaru, he fought Lucci, he fought with Seraphim and he fought Kizaru. Speed Wise, I know Law can teleport which Luffy could sort of counter with Future Sight, but Luffy was able to hit Kizaru, so no one is convincing me he cant hit Law for some reason. Once Luffy got Gear 5, I was convinced that he is never truly losing again. That power is just too broken. Whatever excuse Oda gives for Luffy not outright beating someone is just a plot vehicle at this point, otherwise, he really should just straight DOG everyone in the verse. The stamina thing might be his only downside right now, which is why he might not straight up beat Law AND Kid right now, but next year, this time, he probably could mid diff them without the stamina issue

Luffy resists or is immune to ALL damage Kidd is capable of (yes, including damned punk). Luffy also resists a lot of what Law is capable of (shambles, puncture willie, counter shock). Their best bet is trying to stall Luffy out of G5, but if that’s not possible they’re cooked.

Hey KOL just want to say thanks for the content that you have been producing lately. I know that it's kinda late but I want to give my two cents on the topic in defense of Kid. Kid has the potential to be able to potentially stop Luffy. To start, everything has a magnetic field which means that Kid could effectively manipulate anything and everything. With that being the case, Kid could manipulate water, water which has been seen as a detriment to every devil fruit user. Kid could hypothetically speaking manipulate water and that could hypothetically put a stop to Luffy. And we are not even talking about applying haki to his attacks. He could magnetize rubber because like Luffy is able to affect the laws of physics in OP Kid could do the same thing. He could manipulate gravity, he could make himself heavy and unmovable or make himself light and fast. And he can do the same thing to all of his opponents. He doesn't need metal pieces to be an effective opponent to Luffy. He could affect atoms and molecules. Thermal and nuclear energy. Heat and electricity similar to Big Mom. He could split the atom to make an atomic bomb. He can shoot lasers from his hands as well as do a Kamehameha attack, similar to DBZ. He can ride the magnetic spectrum and teleport anywhere and everywhere. Kid has the potential to do anything and everything, he just lacks the imagination similar to Bonney. Another thing I want to add is, didn't Oda make a comment about Luffy's durability or endurance like how can Luffy take so much damage and write it off like it's nothing. If I'm not mistaken, Oda finally revealed to us what that was, Luffy's DF was a Zoan. What if Kid's in the same boat? What if Kid like Luffy has been using his powers the wrong way? Far more impressive than the devil fruit abilities and other powers in the story, are oda-sensei's ability to take two or more otherwise mismatched characters and there powers, and make up (at least) in world sense out of the subsequent combos.
